Great Bike When Taken Care Of But Not With The $$

it is a GREAT mode of transportation and I bought mine used and in not working condition. It is great However if it is not TAKEN CARE OF each year before use it will cause you headachs and problems.

Like everything even a car it is great new but if something needs to be fixed don't leave it to the last minute and B8TcH about it not being a good bike.

I don't think it is work 4000$ new more like 1000$ since its parts are hard to come by and expencive, best bet to find parts on kijiji and do reparations yourself or go to a mechanic that does it.

I bout my bike with a broken vlutch and belt way over 300$ in repairs I had a family friend do it paying the parts and a bit to them and they did a amazing job.

Dont Waste Your Money

This is a biggest piece of junk i have ever seen. The first month I had it the site lens popped out on the brakes and the fluid ran out and it had no brakes. The dealership i got it from said Sorry we don't carry that anymore and we dont know where to get parts from.

It's So Funny...

It's so funny to find a great 5 star review from a "guest" after a bad review from an actual owner. I think the bike is cheap and not worth the $$$. Not recommended for anyone just getting into scooters. If you know how to work on them, that would be great, but anyone with some knowledge of scooters would walk away from them anyways. Cheap disposable bikes...

Love It. . .

I have been riding motorcycles for over 25 years. I have had mopeds, a 1976 Honda 550 super sport that I built from parts, a 1979 Honda cb750k, a 1997 Suzuki 650 savage, various scooters, an AMF Harley sportster, a 1999 road king, and many others. At this time I own a 2001 Vulcan 1500FI, and the CPI Gt-R 150. My intention when I bought the CPI was to sell it. I got it with 226 miles on it from a guy who said he never had it over 45 miles an hour. I was selling my 1979 Honda 750, and could not get the price I wanted, so he offered me to trade for the CPI. When I saw that it booked for more than my Honda, I reluctantly agreed, thinking I could sell it and get the money. I had to ride it home about ten miles, and figured I would see what it could do. It went 66 miles an hour on flat ground, 76 on a slight down slope, and maintained 58 uphill with my weight of 175 pounds. I found myself wanting to try it out for a while before I sold it, thinking it would be better than my huge vulcan for short trips around town. I fell in love with this bike. I have put almost 2000 miles on it. It is the most fun I have ever had on a bike. It feels like riding a jet ski on land! It is the most reliable bike I have ever owned. I am proud to own it, even being a heavy cruiser rider. Everywhere I go people ask me about it. The only problem I have ever had with it is that the rear brake light actuator switch in the rear brake lever does not light up the brake light. This is not a problem, because the front works, and I use both brakes anyway, so I have not even bothered to fix it. My wife, who is afraid to ride anything with an engine, has no trouble, even enjoying this bike. I love this thing. I have never enjoyed a bike so much, or wanted to tell people about it as much as this one. It is fast enough to run on any road, and yet gets the best mileage of any vehicle I have ever owned. I have put this bike through it's paces. I do not have a four wheeled vehicle. My wife uses our truck to work, and it is not used by me unless I need to move something, such as my four wheelers. I ride every day. This bike, along with my vulcan, has never let me down in any way. Unless something better comes along, I have found my favorite two bikes. The vulcan is the most comfortable long range cruiser I have owned, even over the road king, and the CPI GT-R is the perfect short range compliment to it. I would say to anyone who is looking for a good scooter to get a CPI GT-R 150.

Howdy Everyone! I Am From Moscow, Russia. I Boght

Howdy everyone! I am from Moscow, Russia. I boght CPI GTR 150 last summer with 6000 km run. Very ergonomic and manoeuvrable bike - very easy to ride. It saves me from Moscow traffic jams - worst in the world, by the way... I manage to drive it between cars in the deadly jamed city. And it allows me to go with 110 km.h on highway (that is with 150cc, I wonder how will things change with 180cc:)). Actualy - that is the only (I would say motorcycle) bike with automatic gear and adequate price (Who really need those Honda DN, Yamaha FJR1300 or Mania - they worth a fortune, especialy in our country. For example 2 year Honda DN1 with 15000km run will cost you 15000$-17000$!).

Yes I do have plenty of problems with my GTR - almost no service support from dealer, very poor spare parts support (previous owner managed to overhit the engine and killed the piston). I was trying to find original piston in Moscow or on ebay stores - nothing.. Bought piston from chineze QMJ engine - it is a bit different but fitted. Later ordered a 180cc kit from my dealer - was waiting 7 month till it arrived.

But its aint the bike foult - that is the dealer who is an @sshole.

Assembly and quality of the parts - 4

Ergonomic and manuverability - 5

Engine - 4

Design - 5

I would give GTR 4+ in overall and additional +, cause it has no alternative on the intrenational market at all...

When I First Bought This Cpi Gtr 150cc Bike/scoote

When I first bought this CPI GTR 150cc bike/scooter I loved it. It was fast, reliable, all the things I wanted. But after about a year and a half (when my warranty ranout), things started to go wrong. It had trouble starting - which is really annoying as there is no kick start. Then the electrics went funny. First it was just the petrol light coming on randomly, I was always paranoid I was about to run out. Then the left indicator light stopped, so I changed the bulb but it was the switch, changed that, and then the main front light stopped working, well actually it works but only when I steer in a certain direction. I also found that once you have needed work and have taken the front panel off, you get rediculously loud vibrations when the bike is on but standing still (i.e. at traffic lights). Its really loud and embarrasing. So, if your doesn't go weird on you after a few years, then count yourself lucky. I am beginning to lose confidence in my once loved posession, to the point where I will probably save up and buy a better quality bike.

I Wouldn't Reccomend This Cpi Gtr 150cc Bike Becau

I wouldn't reccomend this CPI GTR 150cc bike because it has been nothing but trouble for me. Too many problems and not enough help from the owner's manual. The service cost alone has already been over $450.00 US and it doesn't even have 500 miles on it yet.

Not happy with this product at all.
