Honda Vision 110 MY 2025 revised

This review is all about the latest (2024-2025) model, sharing the name Vision 110 only from earlier types, redesigned from the ground up. Resembling previous types only from a distance.

After 1000Km from new, I can give an impression how this Honda is like.

This scooter is a Honda Cub like basic and super economic large wheeler scooter in 110 cc form.

It is a small scooter, with a complete new 110 cc engine. It has done away with a separate starter, now integrated. Starting is practical silent ( except for the engine :). The engine super smooth and meets euro 5+ ,the + indicating that there is a better assurance that exhaust emissions are met in the long run. This ESP engine is redesigned from the ground up with a start-stop system which can be switched off if you like. Start-stop works without any problem or noise, is instant when you open your throttle after a stop for a red light or so.

In cities with a lot of lights and stops it reduces emissions and even more fuel.

The engine is rated to burn less then 1:50 ( liter/Km) in theory, Practical I came up around 1:40 to 1:48 between with a load (me) of around 110 Kg. Around 172-200 the fuel warning begins to blink, leaving around 1 L reserve.

The engine is smooth and fits it's 100 cc 2 valve design. It's new ESP design reduces friction on all fronts possible. Top speed indicate around 100 KmH, in reality around 90 ( advertised "89" by honda) With this speed, highway is not advised, except for small distances if you have to on the slow lane. Accelerating is well balanced in city traffic it filters nice through traffic with it's minimal size and weight, no complaints whatsoever

A completely modernized formed steelplate replaces the old tubular one, saving weight.

The maintenance is reduced drastically by around half, around the 6000Km, mainly for changes of oil and airfilters etc.

The oil is an odd 10w40 Jaso-T, MB, SJ or higher, I think it is very wise this an NO other.

The lock is an electronic, so without real keys. with a car-like button thing, you switch to green or red.

The green permits to set the knob which is fixed to the scooter

Allowing in various positions the red light locks the position you have set. At first it needs getting used to, but works very well ( for me at least) .

The 'knob" controls many functions, including seat lock, steering lock and start / stop. The control is normally in your pocket.

Range is around 175-200+ in real word before blinking to fill up. with around 1 Liter left for around 40Km spare. the tank holds 4,9 max, Indicated by a digital meter with square blocks.

The combined braking connects the right lever with front disk an rear drum and this works well.

Lights are not LED.

The dash : speedometer is analoge, well readable, basic, no timeclock, only total mileage, with some info on motormanagement and key connection, etc. The turn indication is only on or off not indicating Left/Right in the EU version (NL) at least.

The seat will do, reasonable stiff nice covered, under a small space under( non of my helmets would fit) but a big chain-lock and rain-jacket fits. A hook for a bag and a USB charge socket behind non lockable "locker", (Very small, smartphone does not fit).

Final thoughts: If you want a high quality basic transport for mainly one person in terms of ease, reliability and economy mainly for the city or low speed roads, then this is your ultimate superbike!

Honda has again made a very well designed scooter for its intended purpose.

Read your manual, check info yourself.

Greatest Per Cc

I bought a second hand machnine around 22.000 Km and sold it 3 Years later at almost 40.000. It never let me down, it ran always very good milage around 1 l/ 40 Km or better! It is very easy to service and extremely cheap to do so.

For it´s 110CC aircooled it delivers everything it has at around 95 Km/hr max.If you must you can manage between the trucks on the highway but....

In and around town it is the best I ever had. Very light it feels like a racer

I put my windsheild and topbox, gripheaters from oxford and muffs in winter and it was comfortable to drive!

Quality is topnotch really the best I had.

Honda now sells the newest with start stop and new styling.

It is a miracle!!!

The larger wheelsize feels better then smaller sized wheeled scooters. It is basic at it best

Who needs more then this?
