“AVOID!!!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by 276Murphy-Alt on 22/02/2021

After driving only 570 miles in a car Loyal Cars Ltd described as good condition and low mileage, the engine failed costing me over £1600 to repair after Loyal Cars ignored my requests to repair under consumer protection laws. Now suing. Avoid this seller!

“RUBBISH Dealers!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by on 05/05/2012

I travelled a 320 mile round-trip to Loyal Cars after reading in their Auto Trader Advert that the car (VW Touarag V10) was in immaculate/mint condition!! Arrived there to find the said vehicle was covered in scratches and even had a flat front tyre! The interior honestly looked as though it had been used as a 'cow-shed' for a few years and many of the dash warning lights appeared to be "on" and showing "visit workshop immediately" etc! Less than a quarter of a mile on the test-drive, the vehicle actually ran out of fuel After waiting for almost 30 minutes, another member of Loyal Cars arrived with "half a gallon" of fuel! (Please bare in mind that this was a 5 litre V10 engined vehicle!) We were then instructed to turn the car around and head back to the Garage! Needless to say, we made a sharp exit upon our return!! I would strongly recommend that you avoid this company at ALL costs! You have been warned!!! Loyal Cars by name they may be..but sadly they don't live up to that title!! .

“56 Plate Passat - Amaing”

★★★★★

written by rpatel on 20/04/2012

Bought 56 plate passat automatic TDI SEL. I am very impressed with the car except for lighting. When I experience it, I rang and I was told to take it back or go to reliable garage or to Halfords and they will pick up the bill. Took it to Halfords, £12.99 for headlight alignment and £13.80 Osram Nigh breaker bulbs from Amazon, and I will be reimbursed. I was given a free 6 months gold warranty as car was worth £5000+. I traded in my old honda, and I was given £200 more than what webuyanycar.com offered. Car itself is amazing. Full service history, it was valet when I picked up the keys, and thoroughly cleaned inside out. Personally recommending, if you intend to deal with Loyal Motors, speak with Ali or Anwar and tell him Passat guy recommended you, he should know who I am :) Good Luck and feel free to ask any questions

“No problems at all”

★★★★☆

written by luke1985 on 08/11/2011

i seem to be reading a lot of negatives about loyal motors. I purchased a used c180 kompressor from this company in august this year and i have so far had no problems what so ever. They done me a good deal for part exchange of my old corsa. I have just had my car serviced by a reputable mercedes tehcnician who has told me i got a great deal and the car is in great condition. after reading bad reviews i had to post something on here as this company I found to be very helpful. Having said this before I purchased the car i done a full hpi check and purchased a more detail check with RAC online.

“bad quality cars”

This company sold me a dodgey car that had 2k worth of repairs. I am in the process of sueing them. Do not buy from these people they will sell you problematic cars. They will sell you warranty that doesnt actually cover your problems. The company have now changed their name to 'Loyal Motors Ltd'but the same people are trading. Do not buy any of their vehicles!!!!!!!!!!

Hello,
I took the company 'loyal cars' to court and won my case. However in that time process they changed over their company name to 'loyal motors' so the baliffs couldn't retrieve my money. I think the justice system is very unfair and the company should be investigated as they are ripping off customers

“Excellent in cheating”

Listening to a well spoken person in thier reception, trusted his account on the car he recommended to me and losing my senses to by that car !. Engine signal started to appear within couple of days. I had taken the car bak and was diognosed as ' the senser ' and nothing toworry about. After driving 3000 miles the car staaled on the motorway and later it was found to be the 'timimg belt' Calling the garage and telling the icident, the reply was the belt has not time limit and could go off any time !. The mileage was only 56000 when that happened. Please if you read this do not do the same mistake of trusting them and buyin your car from there.

“Dont do it!!”

written by asike on 04/09/2011

Just bought a car from them 2 months ago. Still havent recieved my log book. They were meant to send me the service book, I havent recieved this either. The car broke down last week leaving me stranded! I called them and 'its a used car - it can break down at any time!!!' This place is really dodgy and needs to be investigated. Its really not worth it. I am so angry and so disappointed. I wish I had seen these reviews before I purchased a car from them. I am going to look into if there is anyway this company can be looked into. You have been warned!!

Please be warned !!!!!!!!! If are looking to buy a second hand car in London do not buy from Loyal cars in Park Royal. I bought an Audi A3 in good faith with a free 3 month guarentee. Within 3 days I had a problem with the clutch, clutch bearing, radiator and a leaking sump. I was on the motorway doing 80 miles/hr in the outside lane and the engine cut out, which was very dangerous to say the least. I returned the car to the dealer within 4 days of purchase only to be sold a Gold warentee, cost £100, which I was told would cover all the problems with the car. When I took the car to a garage to have the work done I was told the warentee would not cover any of the work.
The matter is now in the hands of my solicitor !!!!!
Please beware, this garage is not reputable !!!!

I just bought a car from this 'garage' just over a week ago.I took it to my local garage as it was low on power and they have informed me that it will cost £3000 plus to repair after they took it to Mazda to have it checked over. Mazda informed me that the engine warning light had been disabled. I called the garage and was told 'sold as seen' (there is no such thing when buying from a garage) I would be interested as to how you got on with your legal advice as this seems the road I will be going to. can you email me on [email protected] and if your case is still ongoing?

I have a similar story I'm afraid. I was sold a dud from this chop shop and I am now in the process of suing them. Have any of you had any luck with the legal route? The process is extremely slow and I am still waiting for directions from the judge but I expect it to be heard in the small claims court. Can we not all put together a joint submission to 'trading standards' so that these sharks are investigated? Please email me on [email protected]. I just knew this wasn't an isolated incident!

“I recently purchased a Car from loyal cars in Park...”

★☆☆☆☆

written by on 16/03/2011

I recently purchased a Car from loyal cars in Park Royal. Days after buying the car it broke down. I returned to the garage where I was roped into buying an extended warranty which didn't cover the fault on the vehicle they sold me, despite being adamant that it would.

I would suggest that if you are looking to purchase a used car to get a full check on the vehicle before buying from Loyal Cars, as there may be hidden faults down the line.

“A word of warning for anybody thinking of buying a car...”

A word of warning for anybody thinking of buying a car from Loyal Cars in Park Royal, London.

Make sure that you get an independent check done on the car you are thinking about buying (AA, RAC for example) as my "nice" new-to-me car was anything but nice.
