This company was amazing, hassle free, no hidden agenda and does exactly what it says on the tin. Filled in the online free quotation. Within minutes they send me a guaranteed price for my car . I accepted they arranged a date for collecting . Done. I couldn’t be there for collecting so left keys and v5 in car , given them my full trust . Car was collected when they said . They called to confirm and money straight in my account. Simple. 3 months after sale I realised I forgot to tell dvla I sold car and got a letter about road tax . I messaged sell the car for help . Within 5mins got a message with them happy to help and the next morning got a call from them and they fixed it there and then for me to save me the hassle. Don’t waste your time elsewhere as you won’t find this kind of hassle free service anywhere. Thanks guys will be back with my next car .

Car engine died and diagnosis was not good. Came to the conclusion I would sell the car for spares and repairs, and wondered if there might be a company that would take it as such. I stumbled across sellthecar because of this and from start to finish it’s been great. Very simple and easy to fill in your details and get a quote, which led to a really good price that I was very happy with and sorting collection was so simple and took no time. Initially it’s easy to have doubts or worries finding a company online for something like this but I must say I’m very happy with my experience and would highly recommend! Especially in a situation like mine where the repair cost is outweighs the value of your vehicle and what you can afford

We got few quotes for our car, these offered more than the rest and no hassle of having to drop it anywhere. Really good communication from start to finish. Driver turned up on agreed date/time and collected car and money was in the bank within an hour. Will definitely use them again!

Brilliant Service!

After trawling the sites to sell my non-runner and after receiving a number of offers that reduced drastically upon speaking with, he called me straight away and gave me an honest review as to the price they could pay for my vehicle. Service was excellent and spoke me through the whole process which was seamless. Gutted to have had to part with my car but would definately use them again.

The guy I spoke with was helpful and friendly and I got more from this company than any other scrap company offered. The only thing I’d say is I was first told I’d receive the money the day before collection, and then the email said it would be in my account by the time the car is loaded onto the collection truck. As it turned out it was several hours after before it appeared in my account which meant I had to call up a few times. Clearer info here would be good. Aside from that all good, polite and fairly quick to action. Would use again

They requested for me to put my bank details though email before they came and completed the pick up. From my understanding, no company would ever ask for someone to make or put their credit card details through an email. I don't think I can trust them for this. What should I do? Steer clear as this is a huge red flag or can they be trusted. Thanks!
