Drive-respect-enjoy
I choose Toucan Driving School because it has an appealing name. I didn't really know who will be my driving instructor but it doesn't really matter who teaches you. If you really want something, you make the effort and you will get it. I also find the deal on driving lessons with Toucan was fairly good although I think a bit under-rated.
My driving instructor was fantastic. His name is Huseyin and he had business-like but friendly approach to all lessons which made me feel welcome, relaxed and ready for driving. I was excited about the driving because my instructor made them unpredictable. Each lesson had a certain flavour to it and was well structured. Now I have the experience of driving on different types of road, in new areas, I can drive in all weather conditions etc, but what is more important to me is that I have developed anticipation and observation skills on the road.
At the beginning I was very uptight, so serious, trying so hard to get everything what my driving instructor said in my head. The drive he had, the experience, everything I took on board. Then I realise that driving is more of a mental skill and the best way to learn is through my own understanding and capability. My driving instructor was telling me everything from A-Z, he guided me throughout my driving, kept telling me what to do and when to do it on the road, in the car park etc. But I couldn't put his words into practice confidently and independently. My driving instructor encouraged me to continue and gave me detailed explanation for each exercise although I think that even if you know all exercises from heart, the real driving always brings you surprises.
The money I spent on driving lessons with Toucan was worth every penny. What the most matter to me is not the cost but what you actually achieve. And with my driving instructor I learned the hard part of driving perfectly. I got it now. It is not about just getting the licence it is about knowing how you use it.
So I would like to say Thank You to Toucan Driving School and especially to the driving instructor Huseyin who taught me to have the right attitude when driving.
Learning how to drive with Toucan was enjoyable experience.
I also want to write few words regarding to some of the comments about Toucan Driving School which I read on the Internet site. I don’t think that anyone should make comments like that about ‘the guy’. This has nothing to do with driving. If anyone is not happy about the driving instructor, then you always got a choice to choose someone better, someone who suits you, there are plenty to choose from. We are all different; we all got different needs, different styles of learning.
There is no need to write comments like that and judge anyone, driving instructors are as well humans, they share their own knowledge, experience and time with anyone who wishes to learn to drive, and they try hard to make learners understand what the driving is about. Or to make comments about how much the learner had spent on lessons and still didn’t pass and then blame the instructor for it. For everything in this world you have to pay, whether you like it or not.
Hey do you still have huseyins number cause I got an old one?

This Is Probably The Worst Driving School I Have B
This is probably the worst driving school I have been to. I was reccomended by a friend. This is owned by one guy is who is self - employed. I have paid over £1000 getting driving lessons and I have failed all my four tests with him.
I thought I would just stick with him since I have been used to the car but after failing my fourth one, the guy started getting weird and saying you should find another instructure.
I think he earns thousands of pounds from student and then just gets rid of them and go tothe new students. Seen as we don't know much about it, he uses student.
I spoke to my brother who is a driver of 20 years about the way the guy was getting me to use gears when turning around a corner, my brother laughed and said that is not right.
He also refuses to give one hour lessons, it is had to be two hours.... why not 1 hour... all a money earning scheme!!!!
I would not go to this guy, it is not worth the money, rudeness. Stay away from him. I have booked another guy, see what happens with him.
Thanks
If you look at TOUCAN's website and their pricing ... what to expect?
