“Good service, poor terms”

Quoted renewal terms were 50% up on last year so I called to query this. Long, long wait on the phone but eventually got through. Was told they would look at an alternative insurer and call back later. I did get a call back but the alternative quote was not much better and involved a £10,000 deductible on jewellery which, considering we don't have any items worth that much, seemed like a pretty clear message that my business was not required. When I finally worked my way through the menu and got to talk to a human the issue I was phoning about was resolved quickly. You can make the whole experience better by removing the so called music when on hold. I have other things to do when on hold and that rubbish in my ear doesn't help - a nice beep every few seconds will be better… Read Full Review

It was nice to receive decent customer service. I had to search through a pile of paperwork for some info and the advisor was extremely patient and didn't make me feel under pressure. They also talked through everything I was unsure of even though my baby was getting frustrated and making quite a lot of noise! I rang up as my previous policy had been cancelled due to a financial crisis in my life and had a cancellation fee of £120 which I had to pay but this was not something I wanted to see and was quite annoyed about it, but policy terms and conditions I had no choice. I spoken to JC6 who was amazing he helped me with everything I needed and even managed to get a £50 reduction off my previous cancellation fee! Happy days!!
