Great Price Excellent Service
Just brought a two year old car from cpm trade centre we are happy with this car after driving it daily for six weeks, only one disappointing aspect is there was no locking wheel nut supplied with the car it cost us £35 from our local dealer but hey we saved over £1300 on the retail price and that more than compensated us overall a great trade price and excellent service thanks cpm we would recommend you guys!

Yes And No!
We bought the car less than two weeks ago it was my dream car and the guy left us to it to look over and check.
We asked about the car's history and he even did a HPI check for us which we printed off and took a copy home with us for future reference.
He knocked off a couple of hundered pounds over the phone, and another 100 after we test drove it for little things like body work issues and there was no log book/manual with the car. Felt like we had driven away with a bargain!
once we got it home i took it to a main dealers because the car was still under warranty, and i got a general health check on it and the aircon needed looking at. I left the car with them and got a phone call back saying that the car has had a bump at the front and the rear which the dealer at CPM failed to mention! we did ask if it had had any accidents etc and he said no.
The whole front end of the car is basically loose and requires fixing. God knows how much this is going to cost!!

False Mot Issued
They did an MOT for a car we were buying from another garage. 3 tyres were illegal, MOT said one was advisory only. Another MOT advisory said oil leak but it was diesel leak, which was dangerous. Brakes locked, nothing noted on MOT. About to report to Department of Transport as MOT was issued for a car which was not roadworthy. In view of other reviews on this forum, intention is to close them down.

Do Not Trust! Won A Judgement Against Them!
Bought a Citroen C4 from them. They marked it as a trade sale with no warranty on the invoice which I did not see until I had gone back to Birmingham (I am not a trader and never have been). Flywheel had gone and dodgy gearbox, collapsed front suspension. Would not give money back to me so I took them to court, they did not even bother turning up and the judge instantly award the case to me.
Buyers beware of these jokers!
A real shame when you try and give a customer a good price for a car.Sold hundreds of cars and this one is the most we have reduced a car price. As for the judgment,a court in Wales can be hard to get to defend yourself when you are running a hard working company.Oh well what goes around comes around in the world of karma.

Honest & Excellent Efficient Mot Service
Took my car in for an MOT and was impressed by the quick service and reasonable price. Staff were courteous and explained a couple of things that would need maintaining on the car in the near future but explained that the car had passed its MOT, overall very pleased would use again without hesitation.
Hi, where is car point sales? Full address or postcode?
City Motors Bedworth
I recently bought a car from City Motors in Bedworth. On the day of the sale I noticed the Radio did not function properly. I paid for the vehicle as they verbally agreed to pay £70 towards any repair or replacement if needed. However, after getting a replacement from a scrap dealer for £140 they have since decided not to pay. Does anyone knoe what I can do about this? I advise anyone who is thinking of buying a vehicle from them to beware.

Total Fraud Never Buy From These Cowboys
Bought a 2000 vauxhall zafira 1.6 on 25/06/2012 was told car was in good condition and had a very good engine and gearbox car seem to drive well
so i bought the car and paid cash in full then yesterday 26/6/12 the gearbox went on the car so i phoned him up and asked for my money back he refused and im now left with a scrap car
im going to trading standards and im taking him to court has he has not even offered to sort it out
so anyone thats even thinking of buying a car from this place turn round and go elsewhere cuz they take your money and do a runner
this place needs to be closed down and stopped from ripping people off
i cant even afford to get the car fixed

I Bought A Ford Focus From Them Which Turned Out T
I bought a Ford Focus from them which turned out to be a lemon and was covered up in the paperwork, it had done 150,000 not 49,000 as the clock said and had covered up crash damage on it. I managed to get my money after threatening them with trading standards and court proceedings,..they claimed they did'nt know about the problems with the car, but come off it! You are dealers, of course you knew,..I would'nt touch this place with a barge pole and I would advise others to steer well clear too. They told me they were still going to try and sell the car to some poor sod , so watch out, and make sure you use; http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/OwningAVehicle/Mot/DG_10020539
(Its free.)
PS, I would have given them zero on all scores but the website makes you score at least 1 out if 5, and also watch out for the reviews/replies written back by the garage, bad spelling and over-egging the "brillaint customer service". Cobblers.
I didn't check it out so not to sure what I can tell you is I sent a letter to them and it was returned to me I did get my money back in the end but it took a week of me calling and txtin him everyday. The owner of cpm is also the owner of rowleys scrap yard
Out of curiosity, the car you bought, was it HPI clear?
Thank you! Really appreciate your response :)
I have just checked that post and that's the same place stay away from them
They are located just behind the tool hire place by the traffic lights at the junction with lockhurst lane and foleshill road
Q&A
