Talbot Avalon 1992
These are perfect vans for a couple or solo, one small child sharing the large double bed is tolerable i`d say for weekends etc. My old girl has been looked after and previously probably garaged, its very clean and no rust underneath. These older talbots are for owners who can look after their mechanics and who are good with diy, if you look after them they will look after you, joining the talbot owners club is a must for the ivaluable help and knowlege you will receive. I have had electric power steeering added to mine and i also have an awning to put on the side door which can sleep 4 easily. yes the making of the bed can be a bit of a pain but a fixed bed motorhome will cost you a very larger amount of money to purchase, when i am out solo i leave the single bed up whilst driving and my pooch is very happy with that arrangement too and i can then stop anywhere for a quick snooze when tired without having to put the bed up then down again. i do not use the shower head in this van, this would cause no end of damp issues, it is not necessary, there are two sinks to use but if you desperately want a shower the its bottoms on and use outside by the rear door. The van is small enough to drive like a car, get on your drive and to park in spaces meant for a car, a perfect sizefor sure. Its a lovely driver, has plenty of poke and mine is often admired and i am often asked if i`d like to sell her, well next year i will sell my darling old girl as my health is deteriorating, like many moho owners i will lose a lot of the money i shelled out but this does not bother me, i am not a dealer just someone prepared to pay for a good time, simples, somebody will get a bargain when it goes up for sale, if you see one for sale, have a good look at it inside and out, if u`re happy then go for it, smashing little moho`s, long live the talboteers.

Compact, well equipped, plenty of storage, large wardrobe, fits comfortably on driveway, beds easy to assemble, cooker and oven very good.
This is our first motorhome (previously had caravan) and we love it. It is so well designed, the layout is practical, light and airy.

We Love Our Talbot Avalon But Have Had To Find Out
We love our Talbot Avalon but have had to find out the hard way things like removing the whole bike rack to empty the toilet etc. The van itself is great to drive even if you've never driven a van before except if you have a back step on it remember its there when you reverse.
If we'd been more knowledgeable about campervans (having not even been in a tent) we would have purchased something with a fixed bed as its a nuisance to keep making it up in a confined space. However we are only just beginning and this is suitable for what we want to do for weekends and even a week away next month. We've bought an awning to expand the space and for other members of the family to sleep in.
Very helpful, thank you.
