Appalling Service
Bought a used approved vehicle, based on pictures and detailed appraisal from the dealership. Flew the 360 miles to pick the vehicle up and on visual inspection everything seemed to be fine, with the exception of being sent away without the service book for the car and having to email twice to get a response and eventually the service book arrived in the post. Fast forward to the first time I washed the vehicle and I notice the paint work on the wheels are terrible. Paint over the old foam residue from wheel weights, very dry lacquer that is very rough to touch and marks where the wheels have not been masked up correctly, far from a BMW standard. After many emails complaining, an acknowledgement they were looking into repairing the wheels local to myself, multiple calls to BMW Customer services and emails to the Head of Business, I finally receive a response saying they would do nothing about it as they had cosmetically repaired the wheels before the vehicle was sold and that any work required would have to be paid for by myself. After taking the vehicle to a local BMW dealership, I was told that the wheels needed stripping back completely to get rid of the poor workmanship and they were embarrassed that a BMW dealership had done such poor work.
The customer service is a disgrace to the BMW brand and the Head of Business could not even offer an apology in his email for the month it has taken to get an answer on the problem.
