I moved from an independent instructor to my new instructor (Horsforth area) after several months of driving with very little improvements with my precious instructor. Within weeks he had greatly improved my confidence and driving through his calm friendly manner and clear and helpful instruction. I am now a confident driver and use my car daily for work as well as visiting family in the Lake District using little country roads and friends in Manchester using the motorway. I am so Grateful and would 100% recommend him. The AA was also cheaper than my original instructor and the app was easy to use to book, cancel and pay for lessons.

I left a previous instructor as my driving was not progressing. I moved. He is a wonderful driving instructor. He is friendly and patient . Calm and reassuring. He put me at ease. His clear instructions and explanations meant my confidence and therefore driving improved quickly helping me to pass. I am now a confident driver and have been around the country on both tiny single track roads and on motorways. I can't thank him enough for the amazing lessons he game me.

This week I passed my driving test all thanks to my driving instructor. He was very patient when teaching me and was able to simplify the lessons so that I was able to understand them.

I started my lessons in April 2022 and was extremely nervous. He made me feel calm and less stressed from the first lesson. So calm in fact that he threw me straight in at the deep end and took me on to busy main roads on my first lesson. This massively set the tone for the rest of my lessons. Sadly I failed my first test due to my own judgement. But passed second time with flying colours and couldn't have done it without him! He's a credit to the AA Driving School. ❤️

I passed my driving test thanks to an excellent instruction! He is an incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging driving instructor. He made me feel comfortable behind the wheel from the very beginning and explained everything in a clear and easy-to-understand way. His calm approach helped me gain confidence, and he tailored each lesson to improve my weaknesses. She has come to my rescue after my precious driving instructor has refused to take me to my test as I cancelled a pre arranged lesson which he booked without my knowledge or permission. I have had 8hrs of driving with Siobhan and she has been very encouraging and supportive. She helped my confidence whilst driving and I didn’t feel anxious like I did with my previous driving instructor. I have failed a driving test with my previous instructor and finally passed . I couldn’t thank her enough for making me comfortable and taking me on with such short notice!

Passed my test today and honestly couldn’t have done it without my instructor. He was always calm, clear and made sure I understood everything properly. He gave me the confidence I needed and made learning to drive feel much less stressful. Really professional and easy to get along with — would definitely recommend him to anyone learning to drive!

I was a really nervous learner but my instructor pushed me just the right amount to feel more confident. He was very knowledgeable and prepared me well. With his help I passed first time with only 3 minors! This was only practicing in my lessons too as I didn’t have a car at home to get extra hours in. Thank you
