“Car used as a smoking shelter?”

My mother used APH in June and returned to a car stinking of cigarette smoke, She herself is a non-smoker. She went and complained and they said that perhaps it smelt because the person collecting a car next to hers was smoking as he picked his up. “Purple Parking Gatwick- Damaged Alloy Wheel”

Returned from an 8 day break away to find my NS rear 19 inch black alloy wheel had been kerbed, resulting in about 8 substantial chips in the paint... which stick out like a sore thumb on a dark wheel... and they were fresh! “APH airport parking to be avoided”

APH is using anther company for online booking and that causes problems, you can easily miss their coach when coming back as it is the other company's bus that stand in you mind becasue your bookng has gone through the other company (Purple parking). APH is far from the airport, compared to other companies. It takes a long time to get to the terminal and the other way round. And it's not clearly sign-posted either. “disastrous experience of parking with APH Luton”

We booked through APH Parking. They recommended Paige Parking at Luton to us. We were going a a week long skiing trip. It was a disaster from the start to have booked parking from them. Paige Parking lost our luggage on the dual carriageway on route to the airport. The driver had neglected to lock the door of the luggage trailer which swung open and our luggage fell out on to the road. “Luton Meet/Greet”

Very very poor. Make sure you request car inspection on arrival; otherwise they will wriggle out of responsibility for any damage done by them. Minor damage was sustained to my car whilst left in their care. Without any investigation or discussion with me they wrote denying any responsibility. This was on the basis that the Terms and Conditions (which of course no one actually reads on internet purchases) state that you must request an inspection of the car on arrival, otherwise they won't… Read Full Review

Exactly the same. We left our BMW in their care for a week only to find scratches to the paintwork on our return. The manager was very courteous and took some pictures saying that we needed at least two estimates for repairs and it would be dealt with. A few days later we received a letter from a Mrs NS Izard in their operations department saying that because we did not have the vehicle inspected on our arrival with at an additional cost of £5 as outlined in their terms and conditions, they would not be held responsible. Again no one actually reads the terms and conditions on an internet purchase as supposedly we are dealing with a professional company. So, buyer beware as their terms are FULL of get-out clauses.

Have used APH for years, never again. Returned from holiday to find a badly damaged alloy and they deny all responsibility as I didn't check before I left. Never use this company, I never will again. Parked at Gatwick over Christmas and returned to find that my drivers door had been opened onto something chipping the paint off the edge. Having had problems at this car park previously I immediately reported it. Someone inspected the car and agreed it had been damaged and gave me a form and asked to provide two quotes to get the damage repaired. “Just don't use them!!!”

“Wish we'd read previous review about damage to car!”

We used APH a couple of weeks ago. We did think long and hard as we'd just bought our new car and normally use another car park for our numerous airport trips. Should have read the small print! Got back to find a scratch along the side from the front door down to the rear wheel. Gutted! “All seemed good--But--”

“APH damaged my car and won't pay out”

After returning from holiday and being given the keys back to my car parked at APH Gatwick I noticed a large scuff on my rear bumper. I think the staff were hoping we wouldn't see it as they made no attempt to alert us to this damage when giving our key back. We parked at APH Manchester when we returned there was a huge scratch across the bonnet of my pristine Audi Cabriolet. They say that the scratch was already there and have consistently refused to pay the repair bill I am taking them to court to recover the £420 bill .They tried to hide the damage by parking the car nose in and hoping we would just drive off. Luckily my husband got the car whilst I waited in the office as he drive up the scratch was clearly visible. APH are liars and I will never use them again.

Been to court and justice has been served APH have had judgement against them and had to pay up plus costs maybe in future they will take more care although we would never use them again and hope our experience acts as a warning to others....our holiday was ruined by all this and we have had 6 months of worry

I have used APH for several years, but the LAST 2 experiences have been appalling. In June 2012 I left my vehicle with them, it having been professionally cleaned the day before. It was gleaming.
