“They won't give you the best price automatically”

We started on a mobile plan at £3 a month just a few years ago. It then rose to £9 a month, with talktalk helping themselves to the money from our bank account. Meanwhile they are doing an offer for £4.45 a month for 12 months. We are eligible for it but they don't tell us, still less automatically transfer us to it. “process of upgrade when contract on samsung S5 expires”

I wanted to get just a sim deal when contract expired on my phone as i did not want to repace my phone (samsung S5) as it still worked fine and did everything I needed. You are given the opportinity of ordering a new phone 30 days prior butthere is no option to go onto a sim only deal. It's only after the order process is complete that you find the phone will arrive without a sim! My login email address was changed, at my request, by TalkTalk CS about a month ago. I've just gone through the process of taking out a new SIM contract. I logged in to my account using my new email address and password with no problems. When I tried to accept the selected SIM offer I was forced to login again, but it prompted for my previous (old) userid and wouldn't accept my new login details.
