They're not even attempting to deliver items

They frequently deliver packages late and their customer service does not help at all. Even today, I stayed all day at home just for the delivery but my package has not been delivered yet and it's over 2h past their delivery window. On their tracking I can see the driver hasn't moved for 3h now. The driver clearly decided to just stop working and not complete their delivery route. When this happened in the past they returned the package back to the depot so I'm certain they will do the same this time too. It's not a one time occurrence, it's a pattern. In the past they also delivered damaged items. I will be raising a complaint with the retailer about Yodel and I will continue doing so every time there is an issue with Yodel delivery. I just can't wait at home every day until Yodel is in the mood to deliver packages. I won't be home tomorrow when they will claim to deliver the item. I waited all day today already for them. There wouldn't be a need to write negative reviews or raise complaints if Yodel's customer service was helpful but they just say "wait" when I know the driver won't deliver the package. Just contact the driver, find out what's happening. If the driver is not moving, they're able to answer the phone. Honestly, most of their customer service people don't even fully read my messages and give out of context replies. I told them the driver missed the delivery window, they proceed with telling me that the item will be delivered within the deliver window.

Once again Yodels incompetent drivers have failed to deliver my parcel or should I say they have delivered my parcel to the wrong address and customer services are absolutely useless just as rubbish as their useless incompetent drivers i would recommend anyone who uses this mickey mouse outfit to seriously consider using another delivery com

The worst courier service in the UK is Yodel!

The worst courier service in the UK is Yodel! After Yodel notified me that they had received my package from the seller, I did not receive any news about the package for three weeks. The tracking did not move. I looked for Yodel, they directed me to InPost, I looked for InPost, they sent me to Yodel. After many chats and exchanges of messages, the message came in the big week that my package had arrived at the InPost locker. However, there was only ONE TORN, EMPTY bag in the locker. How stupid can the courier be to put a torn and empty bag in the locker??? I reported this immediately to InPost with photos, but they said that they could do nothing, I should contact the seller with the problem.

This company is not only incompetent, they lie to you

This company deserves a negative rating for just how completely terrible they are. I am genuinely shocked that a company can be so completely and utterly incompetent at their main service and still be in business. I ordered an item through eBay, the seller left it with Yodel in good time on the 10th. The item was moved to a distribution centre on the 11th. This absolute joke of an excuse for a delivery company then spent more than a week not delivering it (I'm writing this review on the 19th and still haven't received my item), just holding it at their local distribution centre and apparently, according to their tracker, putting it in a van every day but making no attempt to actually deliver it. Part way through this godawful experience with a company that needs to look up the defintion of what a delivery is I messaged them to see what the problem was, they told me (and this is 6 days after they first had the item at their local delivery centre) that apparently the item had been put on the wrong van that was on a different delivery route. Was this being done every day? Was this done on the first day the item was in a place to be delivered? HOW DOES IT TAKE 6 DAYS FOR YOU TO JUST REALISE YOU'VE PUT AN ITEM ON THE WRONG VAN? How is this company even functioning? How are is Yodel so completely incompetent at their main function? The worst part of this whole experience? Yodel actually lied on their tracker and said they had attempted to make the delivery once part way through the week, yet (given I was at home) this was a complete fabrication. So not only are Yodel incompetent, they're flat out liars. I am still waiting for my delivery. Yodel should be utterly ashamed of just how completely and utterly useless they are, you should honestly just pack up the company and stop. You are a net-negative on this planet.

Extremely disappointed and stressed by Yodel delivery

I am beyond upset with Yodel. My parcel, which required a signature, was supposed to be delivered on two consecutive days, yet no timeframe was provided, even though Yodel claim they offer 2-hour delivery slots... they did not!!!!!!!!! This parcel was meant to be a birthday present, and their failure to deliver it properly has caused me real distress. I’ve been crying and stressed over this, and now the delivery they’ve scheduled will arrive too late because I’ll be out celebrating the birthday. I have waited a week for this parcel, and all I’ve received is anxiety and frustration. This is completely unacceptable. Yodel’s lack of communication and care has ruined what was supposed to be a special occasion. I would not recommend Yodel for any deliveries that matter to you, as they clearly cannot be relied upon. I'M STILL WAITING FOR IT TO BE DELIVERED!!!!!!!! I WORK FULL TIME

Appalling Service

My parcel never left the shop it was dropped off at, I received an email telling me that they couldn't deliver to the correct address and it was being redirected - to the shop it had been dropped off at in a completely different city 2 hours away from where i live. When I asked them to sort it out and have it sent to the correct city, they told me there was nothing they could do until the expected delivery date which is over a week away (also a mistake? it is usually 2-3 days?)

So, my parcel never left the departure zone, was marked as delivered, when asked to rectify their mistake, they really could not have cared less or given any less effort to making good on what they have been paid to do. No remote care for customer experience, trust or delivering my parcel.

Please think twice before using this service, DHL is so much more reliable.

Incompetent & Useless

I will not buy goods from companies like Home of Brands or any other EBay company that uses Yodel in future.

I had to stand outside my house in the cold to flag the driver down to get my delivery. Even then they still managed to go to the wrong house!

I waited in for 3 days for the delivery. Twice they said they’d tried to deliver and had ‘missed me’. This was impossible as I was home, they simply lied. This is extremely poor service.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Worst delivery service I have ever received and their customer service is just as bad. Paid over £100 worth of stuff on Ninja, still haven't received it, but they "attempted" to deliver it twice, cancelled plans both days to stay in, followed the delivery tracker all day, sat by the door and phone and not a peep. Liars to say the least, no attempt was made and no card was left. I contacted them as soon as I got an email saying they attempted delivery and suddenly the driver is out of the area and I have to wait 24hrs, this happened twice... Shocking service, will never ever use them again, I'll be lucky if I even receive this package. They assume we all have nothing to do and don't have busy lives to just be sitting by the door for an "attempted delivery" package. Useless

Don’t Use Yodel

Parcel never arrived at Yodel collection store although I had many emails to say it had. Yodel not interested in helping me and could give me no update or information about the parcel at all. Company I purchased from also couldn’t get a response from Yodel… wish businesses would stop using this company to deliver their parcels!

For 2 days I've not had my delivery saying my house number wasn't supplied but I gave them the number on the live chat I was watching the app and contacted them immediately asked if they could contact the driver was told he couldn't do that I took a day off work on Friday for a delivery that didn't come and its still not here
