“bad communication and they could not get the label”

4 days after booking through the website I still have no label. They only communicate through email. I must remember no phone line equals potential issues. Quite how they could not provide labels I do not know. Gave up and booked through an another service, labels appeared within 30 seconds and they were cheaper. I just hope they will refund my money, its in the hundreds. I send a lot of parcels and having companies not provide the service they are selling reflects badly on me. Very dissapointed and they need to have a close look at customer service, can not recommend.

“Parcel Hero Are Rubbish”

I posted a Motherboard through Parcel Hero to be repaired in Canada on the 19th of August 2022. Because the Motherboard had to be repaired I contacted HMRC Customs and Excise to get the appropriate numbers to exclude import and export duty Parcel Hero then sent it through Landmark Global who in turn sent it through the Canadian Post Office to Gigabyte Canada When the Canadian Post Office delivered it to Gigabyte Canada they tried to charge Gigabyte Canada $200 for some reason that Parcel Hero refused to tell me why? Gigabyte Canada refused to pay and at no point did Parcel Hero tell me that I had to pay this money or even what the $200 was for. I had already paid Parcel Hero that money to have the Motherboard delivered this was an additional fee. So from the 27th of August till the 10th of December, the motherboard was held in Canada and undelivered and unrepaired to Gigabyte Canada. I in the meantime had to buy another Motherboard for £850 because Parcel Hero cost my multiple businesses money due to them taking 4 months to return the unrepaired motherboard this, in turn, required me to spend £3,700 on new CPUs. Finally, I got the Motherboard back unrepaired and Parcel Hero then took more money off my credit card for the unrepaired and undelivered motherboard to be returned to my business. I will now have to resend the motherboard to get it repaired but definitely not through Parcel Hero.

“Amazing how such a large company survive on Shocking...”

Finally managed to collect and deliver parcel after 7 failed attempts, then had the audacity to place a sur charge, 4 x cost of original postage, claiming overweight. I proved claim false with pictures and documented evidence from manufacturer of product, Parcel Hero then proceed to take charge from my card against my written will, then lied to credit card company claiming was part of original transaction. In short avoid at all costs unless you enjoy dealing with incompetent sociopaths

“Shocking level of care from beginning to end”

The worst service from beginning to end and absolutely no level of customer care. I paid for a service where I dropped it at the nearest depot and it was delivered by courier to the recipient. I was given the wrong drop-off location upon booking. I had to travel to 4 different locations to drop the parcel off as I was told the incorrect address at each place I was told to go. The recipient was sitting at home all day waiting for the parcel and I received a message to say there was a missed delivery. No delivery attempt was made so the recipient then had to go and collect the parcel. The recipient was an old-aged pension with no means of transport. Door cameras proved no attempt was made to deliver and yet Parcel Hero was of no help at all. I will never use them again. Shocking service from beginning to end.

Shocking level of service Entrusted… Shocking level of service Entrusted Parcel Hero to do a job only to have £1200 worth of property smashed beyond recognition.... Every excuse in the book used to deny all responsibility. This company do not give a damn about their customers or the parcels they collect..... UPS was the carrier they chose to use and are equally responsible.... All my complaint emails answered automatically without any person to person contact...... Terrible company, terrible service they dont care who they work with just take your money and run. I should have listened to the very many that told me to avoid parcel hero like the plague. Never again

“ParcelHero? ParcelZero more like. ”

Zero is how many stars I'd have given them if it'd been an option. We foolishly used them to courier an important parcel to another country with a scheduled delivery date of February 9. The parcel wasn't delivered until February 13, FOUR days after the scheduled date. The package was time critical as it was to meet the deadline for a important and valuable tender and thanks to ParcelZero we missed the deadline and lost out on the tender. Thanks a million . . . well, several hundreds of thousands . . . ParcelZero. When we complained they at first blamed it on a public holiday in the destination country (which they should have known about and taken into account before promising a delivery date), but it turned out the package hadn't even left Europe until AFTER the holiday and even more importantly until AFTER scheduled delivery date. And it still didn't explain why it was FOUR days late. Needless to say, when we pointed that out to them they just said "Terms & Conditions" as if that excused them of all their obligations, responsibilities and promises and washed their hands of it. They might as well have said "nothing to do with us" and "scr*w you". Avoid at all costs.

Booked a parcel for India on the 7th January collection for the 10th. Labels were to be sent within 60min to print and attach.Never came and the UPS came to collect on the 10th.Wouldn't take it as no labels .Rebooked for the 12th and tables sent online.Parcel went On the 21st received email (11 day later and this is supposed to be 4 days delivery) that the receiver needs to contact local UPS office.They did call and were asked to present Pan card, GST number and an Import & Export licence.They did the first 2 but as its not any goods they don't have licence.UPS not releasing the parcel.My parcel has an application form for a PAN CARD that's it and has been declared on the form.If the licence is a requirement in India then ParcelHero should have asked for it when booking, I have sent 44 emails to them still haven't to been able to resolve it. Ask to return it back to me in UK then they want another £40.I already paid £40 to send it. There is not contact number to call or if you ask them to call they only send you email.Useless company and now 27th Jan its too late and will destroy my parcel. My friend send the same document with Fedex but £6 more then what I paid and it reached in 5 days ADVISE NEVER USE THIS COMPANY USELESS TERRIBLE SERVICE

“Terrible service”

We were a long standing customer of parcel hero however, the recent service we have experienced has resulted in lost business. They are a third party and as such when items go missing you are left having to deal with them rather than going directly to the carrier which we didn't realize. Our parcel was attempted to be delivered back to us. We weren't even told it was coming back to us. Half the delivery was returned and we missed the second half. They only attempted twice. We weren't even told they were going to attempt to return t so we missed it. We then chased to find out how to get it delivered but Parcel Hero team took well over their promised 48 hour response time. 7 weeks later we were told that it was delivered to lost property and because we didn't get back to them they destroyed our valuable parcel leaving our business picking up the pieces. How can anyone claim a lost property item if they are not even told its actually in lost property!!!!!! Outrageous and expensive.

AVOID AT ALL COST!!! sent a parcel, put the exact weight and dimensions into parcelhero website, accepted the quote, then 2 months later they chase me for additional surcharge 2X THE COST OF THE ORIGINAL QUOTE,for being over length, this happens frequently if you read the reviews. AVOID

They did exactly the same to me and continued harassing and threatening for 2 x the cost of the original quote ignoring that I even had the evidence of the package dimensions and weight. They kept claiming it was double the size but provided no evidence.

Like other reviewers I have had a terrible experience with this company and would never use again * arranged to collect a parcel (same day) - a price was quoted (please note I over estimated the size and the weight) - this part went fine * parcel was delivered on time (thanks to the carriers not them) * a week later they come back to us to advise there is a "weight adjustment" and they now want more than £79 EXTRA from us * on questioning their answers were vague and hid behind T&C where they claim they have the right to charge after the fact asking to use duplicate the parcel (this was a one off parcel with unique packaging and therefore could not be replicated) * the question was asked about the invoice and proof of the extra charges -they sent a blurred out image which didn't show any of the prices and also showed they were not being honest about the actual extra they claimed were being charged (for any admin - I have the proof Morale of this story - AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE, UNDERHAND TACTICS

Not only they didn't deliver the parcel at all but also refuse to return it!! Before that they tried to get me to pay them extra 120 EUR for VAT charges, which not only aren't due but even if they were, they would have been 50 EUR and due to EU CUSTOMS and not to some shady business. Never use them.

Booked a 1.3kg parcel to EU, when it got there it was delivered by the post office then I got charged £5.59 on top of the £42.00 paid The extra charge had no explanation, they make excuse it was for extra weight, They hope to get away with these extra charges..

I used Parcelhero (DPD + DHL were the couriers handling my item) to ship an acoustic guitar from UK to Italy. The box was labelled and taped as 'FRAGILE'. The guitar neck got broken and the item is chipped in several parts. It is now severely damaged and irreparable. As I did not flag this within 14 days from item arrival, they rejected my claim and only offered a £15 credit which I will NEVER use. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

“Beware Extra Charges After Delivery”

Do not use! I got quoted £51 to pick up and deliver 4 car tyres. They asked for dimensions and weight. The tyres were measured and weighed by the seller at 20kg each, total weight 80kg They took three days to pick up and deliver the tyres that were only 40 miles from my address. I have now received an email with an invoice for an additional £256 as they incorrectly claim the total weight was 126kg so they want to charge £256 for a fictitious 46kg to be transported 40 miles. ABSOLUTE **** If I paid up, that would mean I would be charged £307 to deliver 4 car tyres 40 miles! Just glad I used a credit card to pay as I will now stop the payment, as I have not authorised it. I just wish I had looked at reviews online before I used this company. If I had, I would have discovered that this was a fairly common tactic that they use to try and extort extra cash from their customers. They try to legitimise this by making use of a clause hidden in their small print that states that they can make an additional charge, if the submitted dimensions or weight are incorrect.

“Failed the most basic requirement”

Simply didn't turn up and made no attempt to contact me to let me know. The parcel had to be delivered the next day so I was completely let down. I cancelled the order when they didn't show and they charged be £5! No effective way of contacting them when you need help. The web chat is useless, just fobs you off.

I strongly recommend not use this company and no circumstances give your credit card details. They are just few brokers who is hiding in undisclosed location. Using a legal loop hole and small print in the terms company that doesn't have even a phone number to contact them charge your account whatever they pleased. You can raise dispute with a bank but bank can do nothing to stop them

I searched online to find a courier service to send back a toilet and parts. I came across Parcel Hero, got a quote and thought ok, great. I paid the additional insurance for the items. Well the toilet was delivered broken. I contacted Parcel Hero who come across like they want to help but really won’t. Do not use unless you are posting a soft item. Paying for insurance does not help, they just want your money.

PARCEL HERO - WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH - STAY WELL CLEAR. So i was searching on the internet trying to get the cheapest price to send a small parcel to the Dominican Republic. whilst searching i came across Parcel Hero and got a price quoted for £41.86 they were cheaper than going direct with all the main carriers so i decided to go with Parcel Hero. so i choose the 3-5 day delivery time to be delivered from Uk to Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. so my parcel was picked up on 27th of May 2020 and it was not delivered within the 3-5 day service for which i had paid obviously we are currently in the middle of a Global Pandemic so naturally deliveries to some countries may take bit longer I took this into consideration and was fully aware and understandable of the current situation we were in. The issue that i had was that on Wednesday 10th of June it stated on the tracking information on the Parcel Hero website that the delivery person had tried to deliver the parcel and that there was no answer at the given address, the person who was waiting for the parcel to be delivered was at home all day long, so this clearly shows that they were not at the correct address, yet on the parcel it clearly has the recipients contact telephone number, but the delivery person did not clearly use any common sense what so ever and call the telephone number of the person to ask the question, where exactly is your home as im lost, so as a result of not using their common sense, the tracking information stated that the parcel had been now returned to the local depot, incredible. Then 2 days later the tracking information stated that the delivery person tried to deliver the parcel again and that it was rejected by the recipient, clearly the delivery man is not at the right address again for the second time in a week, hence it was rejected, but yet again the delivery driver never used common sense and called the telephone contact number of the recipient that was clearly on the front of the package so the parcel was returned to the depot for a second time. so that's now 2 different attempts at delivering the parcel in a week, but to the wrong address completely, as a result of this the parcel being returned back to the depot for a second time, it then sat in the depot for a whole week doing nothing, before it was then finally delivered to the correct address which was on the 19th of June. so 3 weeks and 2 days later the parcel is finally delivered. So if the delivery person delivered the parcel to the correct address on the first attempt, then there would not be a problem, instead as a result of two failed delivery attempts, the recipient had to wait another 9 days before finally getting their parcel. So i contacted Parcel Hero via email many times from when the parcel was first not delivered after the 5 days, as this company does not have no contact telephone number, reason for that as well, so they can avoid speaking with all angry unsatisfied customers, so all communication is back and forth ping pong emails. so i asked parcel hero for a refund as the service i had paid for had failed, failed as in was not delivered in the 3-5 time frame, failed in 2 attempted deliveries and having to wait another 9 days before the parcel was finally then delivered. Parcel Hero came back with the following reply - The carrier has confirmed due to the current global situation; flights being delayed, backlog of shipments your shipment incurred transit delays. Due to this we will not be able to offer a refund on the booking charge as this delay is beyond our control. Please see our section 11 of our Terms and Conditions. We do apologise for any inconvenience this has caused you and the receiver. So clearly using Coronavirus to avoid any refund what so ever, i clearly stated to Parcel Hero that when the two failed attempted deliveries were unsuccessful this had nothing to do with the Coronavirus, or flights being delayed, or back log of shipments. This was clearly down to lack of basic common sense. My parcel was already in the country and had been tried to be delivered two times, but to wrong addresses. But Parcel Hero just totally ignored these important points. 1st time customer of Parcel Hero, and was the worst service i've ever received, end of. If you need a courier your best off just going directly with Fed-Ex, DHL, TNT etc, you may have to pay bit more money, but you sure will get the proper service and your parcel delivered on time. I have since set up an account directly with TNT and have done 8 deliveries now to Santo Domingo and every single delivery was delivered before the due date and not one single issue with any shipment. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for, and with Parcel Hero, you get nothing, but excuses. JOKERS

I'm looking to ship my daughters wedding dress from Glasgow to Perth Australia as she gets married next March. I'm obviously worried about sending it in case it gets lost or damaged. Does anyone have any reviews and experiences of shipping companies?
