Crackin First Ped !!!
My 03 NRG MC3 50AC standard was quite nippy on take off,but 11.5k revs, and 38mph top was unimpressive.
A race variator, kevlar belt,5.5g rollers, and with Leo Vince exhaust,it now revs 8.5k and 65mph on the flat...! so much better.good on fuel at 65-80mph
I love it..! What 16 year old would'nt,for a first road bike...

Great Bike & Cheap
Bought my 03 plate for about £450, have done nothing to it at all just standard restricted hits 50 on the flat. If i was to fit a performance exhaust of decent quality i think i could easily see 55/60 on it. Reasonably economical does about 70/80 miles to the galleon, which is pretty damn good considering the age of it. Under seat storage is great, i can fit my helmet in which i find amazingly useful!
Great Bike!

I Have Just Bought My Nrg Mc3 53 Plate For £
I have just bought my NRG MC3 53 Plate for £350 They are brilliant bikes, i have fitted the top of the range exhaust: Yasuni Carrera 16-07 City Powerpipe Carbon Kevlar Silence to it and its derestricted and got black top in the engine and the bike reaches about 80 mph on straights and about 85/90mph down hill. If you know how to do an NRG up they are rapid all the parts together cost me £250. If anyone wants any moped's doing up give me a email [email protected] will do up most well known makes for a good price. The only bad point on my NRG is the lights because there too dim but should be getting them sorted sometime soon!
i have an aircooled 54 plate wot siz rollers do i need i have it de restricted and it has a gienelli egshaust on it so wot size rollers do i need on it? thanks email me at [email protected]

Just Got My Nrg Mc3 L/c, Load Of Rubbish To Be Hon
Just got my nrg mc3 l/c, load of rubbish to be honest. Drove it for one week and i was going along a dual carriage way and it cut out, it starts first time but doesn't move when i rev.
The good points are that it is fully de-ristricted and easily hits 50.
It is very economical, i fill it up with a fiver monthly. I bought it second hand for £600.00, from my experience i would NOT reccomend this for a C.B.T kid like me.

I Got An Mc3 Nrg Air Cooled 53 Reg That Had Been C
i got an mc3 nrg air cooled 53 reg that had been converted to liquid cooled not with a liquid cooled enine but with the original engine for 480, off ebay absolute bargin considering it has the following parts on the bike just need mot and tax,
malossi mhr 70cc cylinder
malossi rhq race crankshaft
malossi mhr exhaust
21mm delloroto carb
malossi manifold and reeds
malossi delta clutch
malossi multivar variator
polini primary gears
polini secondary gears
artek k1 stator plate
this bike is f*****g rapid on flat it hits 76 with no wind down hill im talking 80's
downside being i get about 5 mins out of a liter which is astronomical for a moped
ive just bought another nrg to try and replicate the engine but im struggling to find out how the engine was converted i have a rough idea but i dont want take a tool to my engine without knowing what to do just wondering if any knows anything about it ????????????
ya bike sounds sweet mate ive jus put polini 70's polini exhaust on mine and jus wondering what weight rollers you got in it mate

Nrg's Are Pretty Good Mopeds Tbh. I Bought Mine Ab
NRG's are pretty good mopeds tbh. i bought mine about 9 months ago and it has been very reliable, never had a major problem, expect from when i tried to derestrict it. The best thing to do if you want to make a piaggio nrg faster is to take a sledge hammer to the plastics, smash up the variator, and burn the carb. because my god, without a sports can, they struggle to get over 40, even fully derestricted. If your looking for speed, i dont reccomend a piaggio nrg at all. However if your looking for a reliable ped that would go 40mph max then this is ideal. & whatever you do dont buy an aprillia sr 50, they are absolutley terrible.
i have a piaggio nrg...without the new exhaust i had put on it...i could get about 60mph easy. now with a new sports exhaust, racing drive belt, slicker tyres and smoother suspension...i can get about 130kmph..about 80 odd mph. out of a 50cc. so yes, get a piaggio for speed.

I Got My Year 2000 Nrg Lc In 2008 Of An Old Man Th
i got my year 2000 nrg lc in 2008 of an old man tht had only done 2500 km . i deristricted the variator and changed my main jet size to 82, put a leovincie zx exhaust on it thts all . on a flat road wiv ur head down it does 70 ish beats all 50s and all my m8s wiv 70s kits, beats standard 125s but only just keeps up wiv good 125s then they keep goin to like 100 so:/, over all they are great does 80 mpg pulls bad boy wheeles only cost 300 quid not worth selling it as ied ralther keep it. only problem iv had is the forks broke (from wheeleing) so its got £180 buzzetti forks, never had any running problems but from time to time iv had many electrical problems but all easaly solved, looks great if ur 16 like i was its worth taking lime and looking for a gooden
