Benelli Pepe 50 LX

i bought a used 60 reg lx in silver last week..for the wifes cbt..it was a ex hire/ training bike..with a few scratches,grazes etc..but it was cheap..i payed cash & rode it home to harlow essex..around 30 miles..round the a406,& up the a10..ok ..i havent much experiance of small 50 cc scooters..i borrowed a zip 50..a few years ago in spain..& its better than that..its still restricted so tops out at 30 mph or 45 kmph...& ive used it for work all week..ive notced two small problems..1.dosnt tick over when cold on the choke..but when warm it runs fine..2..the brakes squeal..i dont think theres any copperslip behind the pads..its only done 800 miles..these are £1200 new..im 18 stone..& 6ft..& it moves me around fine..i only nip out to work etc.& the wife to the train stn..its never failed to start..& it handles fine..it came with some chinese tyres..dont worry even in heavy rain it never moves even on around a roundabout etc..it has a top box which i put my bike cover,lock,& waterproofs in..the under seat storage wont fit a shoei..or arai..but i just put it in my work locker..as for mpg..i havent filled it up yet...& its still over half full..brilliant..just let it warm up for a few minutes when cold..& then pull away..its plain ugly..but for the money ..its a winner its a new model as of last year..so theres not a lot of reviews..but trust me its a bit like mcdonalds..its cheap but it dosnt leave you feeling full..the pepe..is like that..my neighbour who has 2 16 year olds were not impressed ..but to me thats a good thing..it might keep a few thieving hands off it....when ive got a tinted arai on no one sees a big smile on my face....well recomended..i will get it de restricted..next year after the warranty finishes,,till then il put up with it..i take my 9 year old daughter to cubs on it..twice a week..its never stopped..& im going to run it into the ground for a few years yet..i even plan to put it on the back of my caravanette..when on holiday..my wife & me just fit..but it still does 30 mph..what more do you need..!!!!!
