It's A Strange Scooter. It Takes Some Getting Used
It's a strange scooter. It takes some getting used to. I made some side curtains for mine for wet weather which work quite well. Not a real fast scooter for a 150 but for city riding it is ideal. As scooters go it's a decent ride. Not as comfy as a Honda Reflex of course but a third of the price.
A couple of years ago there was talk about putting a 250cc out but so far I haven't seen one. That would make this a great road scooter. I am tempted to buy a 250cc engine and drive train and converting this one into a 250cc.
This scooter is like riding a kite on the freeways. Don't do it unless you just have to. The reason being the oversized windshield and the top act like sails.
Personally I like the bike but I only ride it in rainy conditions.
The side curtains help a lot in keeping the sail effect from tossing you around but it is still dangerous in windy conditions.
