had to pay ANOTHER company AGAIN to get das test she was the most unhelpful person ever promising to phone 10 times and never did kept coming up with excuses saying couldnt book test as the booking centre's website was down for 4 days

I booked a DAS course with the license center, once I got there I was confronted by a lady called Edwin's who is the bosses wife I think who came across a know it all and a bit rude , I didn't think much of it and ignored it as I wasn't going to see her again. The instructor told us to put our gear on ( ie leathers , helmet etc) and start the bikes up, I thought to myself hold on a minute you haven't even showed us around the bike , he followed out of the shop around 2 minutes after we had started up and sat on the bikes.

I accidentally dropped the bike as i pulled out of the shop as not use to riding such a big bike as I had been on a 125 for a few years. I finished my 2 days worth of training and went for my mod 1 and unfortunately failed , I was told I could rebook it so I booked it for a few weeks later . I was told that I couldn't finish my course and they would revoke my certificate (which is illegal ) if I did until I paid the damage to the bike. Me paying for the damage of the bike was a different matter than me having payed for my course.

I was looking for a company to train me for my cat c hgv licence and came across The Licence Centre in Wallisdown in Poole as they are just up the road from me. They offered me a great deal and two free days training on the artic after passing my rigid. I paid for four days intensive training and the test at the end. After four days it was decided I needed am extra day which they gave me for free! Next day I passed my test with only four driver faults-not bad considering first time I had ever driven a lorry! This was down to excellent training and a great deal of patience from my instructor Paul. I had a lot of negative comments about these guys but I can only praise them and put the comments down to competition spreading lies. Cant wait to do my artic licence and am doing my cpc practical with them too. Couldnt recommend enough and can only say do not listen to rumours as rumours are usually untrue as I found out!
