After a 6 month break from driving I decided to try another driving school after failing my test a number of times with Bill Plant.

11 Lessons later and I had passed my test on the first attempt with Road Knowledge.

The instructor was great and really knowledgeable, who ironed out all the mistakes and bad practices I had picked up previously. It also helps that the lesson prices are a lot lower then the big driving schools even though the teaching is a lot better.

I would recommend Road Knowledge to anyone in the Birmingham Area

All I can say is that having had a few bad experiences before, it is refreshing to actually have a driving instructor who knows how to teach. Did a wonderfully job of inspiring my daughter and giving her the skills and confidence to pass first time. I cant thank you enough.

I started off as a very nervous driver as I had a bad experience with a previous driving school. However my instructor was very patient and really helpful, which gave me confidence in myself and in my driving. He always gave me positive encouragement even if I did make a mistake and with his supportive guidance I was able to pass first time! I was so impressed with his teaching methods that I have recommended him to all my family and friends. My sister is now also taking lessons with the same instructor and making excellent progress after just a few lessons!

Struggled previously under different instructors and had failed my test twice, as my hand eye co-ordination is not the best, but after a quick chat with the instructor assigned to me he understood the situation and we did not look back thereafter. The instructor was calm, methodical and explained everything (more than once) and had the patience of a saint. He went through things a step at a time, and kept the learning process interactive and interesting. I am really over the moon to say that I passed first time with this school and I cant rate them highly enough. Thank you so much!

Having just finished A levels, my new challenge was to conquer driving! I was in a dilemma since I was working part and time and in practice had no experience at all at driving a car. I knew I needed an instructor who was patient, and more so someone who was able to negotiate lesson bookings in accordance to my working hours. I definitely found those traits in my instructor Wazeer who is currently part of the Road Knowledge driving school.

I was very sceptical at first since I did not have any family / friends who had used the school nor had Wazeer as their instructor. However, 3 months in and I can honestly say that I am very satisfied with the Instructor I have and that I strongly recommend him and the driving school to anyone planning to learn to drive, hence this review.

My instructor is extremely patient, flexible, always on time and explains everything vividly. I was made to drive on my very first lesson and have always felt that my lessons have been productive, worthwhile and a new learning experience each time. Wazeer; my instructor is very calm, friendly always positive and ensures that I not only understand when I’ve made a mistake but more that I know how to correct it for next time. He is always willing to answer my endless questions and rather than dictate what I should be doing; he gives me the opportunity to make my own decisions and therefore act as an independent driver.

After each lesson, I am given feedback about my drive and told what I will be doing in the next. I feel that despite my instructor having several students I am treated as an individual learner and each lesson is structured to ensure that I get the most out of them.

There are so many driving schools/ instructors in the Birmingham area all of which claim to be the best and cheapest. It makes it hugely difficult to know who to trust. However I can honestly say, with experience, that if you want an instructor who has your interest in mind, someone you can definitely trust to provide a professional learning experience without leading you on, I strongly recommend Road Knowledge; (namely Wazeer) - I did, and I certainly haven’t looked back!

I booked lessons and was allocated there instructor Wazeer, Having had lessons previously with the AA and Bill Plant I had taken over 50 lessons and failed 2 tests. Last week I passed on my 3rd attempt at Kingstanding test centre.

The teaching methods of this guy Waz was totally different to the other 2 instructors I had in the past, he explained everything really well and gave good explanations on what and why he was telling me to do stuff. Had I known some of this knowledge and methods previously I would have passed first time. Waz is a very polite young guy that is very relaxed and very easy to get on with.

If you book Lessons in the Birmingham area with Road Knowledge defo ask for this guy and you will not be disappointed. I have had experience with a few instructors so can defo recommended this guy. Thanks Samantha
