Please see below for thread of emails from Nick Spruce driving school. I am left utterly dismayed that in 2015 someone running a business could be so patronising & rude & down right decimating toward a pregnant female learner driver. My initial enquiry email is at the bottom followed by the response I received.......

Thanks for your message. I'm wondering if you are aware of the commitment required to obtain a full UK driving licence. The average learner in the UK has 67 hours of practice before passing the test and the pass rate for female learners at my test centre (West Didsbury) is just 35%!

I have a full diary of learners and could possibly commit to 2 hours a week. If you are an average learner you will therefore be learning with me for the next 6-8 months!!

I hope my message has given you a new perspective on this process and I strongly recommend that you wait until you have had your baby before continuing lessons. My experience with pregnant ladies is that driving becomes too difficult as the birth approaches.

Hi ,

I came across your website & was hoping to find out a little more info if you don't mind?

I have been having lessons (about 5, 2 hour lessons) with an instructor from Drive Dynamics but don't feel I'm progressing at all. In addition the instructor was not flexible to the times I was available.

I'm hoping to be test ready by March & have passed before mine & my partners first baby is due in May.

I also have my theory test booked in this week.

If you wouldn't mind letting me know availability etc.
