Jon-Matthews Driving School

I am a 34 year old who for personal reasons never had the confidence to go take test, I did have few lessons previously with other instructors years before however I never carried on, when I did book with Jon Matthews driving school I did a block of 19hours this way I would have noplace to find excuses, when I booked I was found out my test would be 1week later I didn't think I would be ready or have the confidence to do it. During lessons made many mistakes and I was told off many a time! it is fantastic though thinking of it as all I heard in my head when I took the test was his voice and made me remember! I passed 1st time with 5 minor faults, I was shocked that after so many years with such low confidence and nerves that after one week he helped me overcome them. I would recommend this driving school to EVERYONE, If I can pass anyone can!

I had a 25 hour driving lesson with the person I dealt with is a different instructor to the ones you normally get he like things doing in a certain way and he won't hesitate to tell you when you mess up, but everything he says helps when you have your test because it starts to make sense, so I defiantly would recommend him!

I've been learning with them for 4 months and passed first time, instructors are always friendly and make you feel comfortable, they help you improve your basic skills on driving and improve on your weak points and to build up your confidence, I highly recommend this driving school, there will be no disappointment.

Great instructor, my 17 year old passed first time within two months of turning 17.

Worst driving experience. I will never recommend anyone this driving school! I cancelled the instructor due to been unfairly treated along with other multiple reasons like they never are what they are advertised! Friendly? Yes at first, but when you make mistakes? Who will stay friendly? Boost your confidence, how? By telling you off when you make mistakes? The confidence goes down as the number of times instructor tells you off! They always have something to say back at you! Guess what, take my advice, I will take my time to go for more suitable instructors or driving schools! Do not take this advantage as I did I booked the discounted first 5 lessons off Groupon. Never make me the same mistake as I did! Worst worst worst, disappointed, disappointed, disappointed!

Will defo be recommending to friends and family in the future. Was very good and helpful, helped me pass first time.

I am writing my review very late, can't believe I have successfully completed my driving in Leicester for 1.5 years and total driving of 8000 miles in UK with no issues. I am very much thankful to Jon Mathew driving school where I learned driving from scratch and passed the test in second attempt. As a fresh starter I was afraid of driving in my class but the step by step teaching and different driving techniques for manoeuvres gave me confidence, made my driving enjoyable. I highly recommend anyone joining Jon Mathew driving school and sure you will see your results positive.

The perfect experience when I had courses with my instructor! And he helped my book the perfect time of test! Everything was perfect when I had my driving courses with them! Intensive and helpful courses! As I'm foreign language user, I'm Chinese, but he was very patient and kindness to me! I had recommended to my friends as well. Firstly, I would like to say a big thank you for the amazing lessons and support.

I received a great service with which I passed first time. I learned at my own pace, going over things which I wasn't very good at to try to perfect that to obviously pass. My instructor was very nice and pleasant to drive and learn with, it was never boring.

I had 5 weeks to learn before my practical exam, my instructor booked the lessons I needed to learn to drive in the time I had outside of college.

My instructor was always helpful, supportive and always answered any questions I had.
