Chris was very patient with me right from the start. He had a sixth sense of exactly what needed to be done or what I was about to do and was able to help me become a better driver. His knowledge of the vehicle was amazing and I really appreciated everything he did for me. It was very stressful for me but he stayed calm and helped me through the process extremely well!

I was quite nervous about learning to drive in a city, but he did a great job of helping me stay calm and clearly knows the area well so was able to take us to areas suitable for my progressing level of experience.

I really liked how Chris was able to tell me why I should be doing things rather than just what I should be doing, it made me able to think how I could improve my driving rather than just knowing I did something wrong!

Not just a great driving instructor, but also a really friendly guy who made learning to drive a pleasure and not a chore!

It took me quite a while to build up to taking my test as work commitments often got in the way. Chris Baker was very flexible working around what I needed and very patient as this meant my progress was fairly slow. Throughout the lessons Chris was extremely patient and clear. He talked through the hows and whys of good driving - not just what I needed to pass the test but beyond. He made sure that I understood what I was doing with general driving and maneuvers and never minded having to repeat things when I needed more practice! Chris was very supportive when it came to taking the test and I really enjoyed learning from him. In addition to the lessons, his website was an excellent resource for driving information and advice for the test.

From our first lesson Chris helped me to feel comfortable behind the wheel and get to know the fundamentals really well (something that was severely lacking with my last instructor!). He was always happy to answer all of my questions and he was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the tests and any recent changes. Chris was always happy to let me take more time on certain things I may have been struggling with, but he would still push me to do more challenging tasks to make me more prepared for passing my test. I felt that the lessons I had with Chris over a few months completely prepared me with everything I needed to know and practice for the test. I have already recommended Chris to several friends as I think he is a great driving instructor and I would also recommend him to anyone else.

Chris was a very nice person to me he helped me with a lot of things i was not very good at and made me feel comfortable behind the wheel. if at any point i wanted to practice one thing i would just let him know and we would do that thing for how ever long i liked. if i picked something up really quick he would not spend all lesson on it he would move on to something else. he always had a laugh with me in the car and still to this day says hello to e when i pass by him. if i was not at anything he would be patient with me and help me improve my technique. i would recommend him to any one of any age. 15/07/2012

Before starting my lessons with Chris I was nervous about whether it would work out as I had found him by searching on google rather than hearing about him from a friend.

However in the first lesson all my fears were gone as he makes you feel relaxed and is one of the most patient people i've ever met. I can't fault him in any way as not onl is he a good teacher but also a really nice guy and easy to get along with.

With the help of Chris I passed my test first time after 20 hours or so of lessons, which in my opinion is evidence in itself of how good he is.

(Name removed) is an excellent instructor. Unlike some others, he's very patient and does a great job at explaining ideas without sounding like he's repeating lines from a book verbatim. I would definitely recommend him as he greatly improved my confidence and ability. Proof is in the fact that I passed on my first attempt! And personality-wise, he's really not too bad ;)
