I am writing to complain about the conduct and attitude of driving instructor (name removed). I first began my automatic driving lessons with (name removed) ( instructor cert: 356505) 22nd February 2011, but failed my driving test taken 8th September, 2011. Thus totaling 62 hours in lessons costing £992. After this incident, I took up driving lessons with another driving instructor,(name removed), for manual driving lessons. On these lessons, I was allowed to experience different road conditions and taken to various areas in Newport, whereas with (name removed), I was only taken on 3 straightforward routines from my house to the test centres in an automatic car. I took my next driving test on 18th November 2011, and passed with only 4 minors. This was after only 20 hours worth of lessons with (name removed) in a manual car. Conversely, I had 62 hours with (name removed) and end up with 3 serious fault and 5 minors in an automatic car. Proving that I am not a fool, but that (name removed) is an unqualified instructor only interested in his own financial gain. Coincidently, a friend of somebody I know took driving lessons with (name removed) for 5 years and consequently failed 9 times. Fortunately, I changed driving instructors to avoid this same destiny. Having a driver’s license plays a very important part in everyone’s daily life, and I sincerely hope that less people will suffer from (name removed) extremely poor teaching methods and vile misconduct.
