Avoid

Had a terrible experience buying a used car from these guys which cost me a lot of time and money to sort it out. Don't go near the place.

Disgrace. Avoid

These guys are disgrace, horrible liars and cheaters. Bought a VW Golf from them and now getting rid off it, had such bad experience. Plus they got nerve to charge £95 admin fee.

Avoid Like The Plague!

I have recently seen this company featured on Watchdog and am appalled that there are some really dishonest motor traders out there. Safety is of paramount importance when it comes to buying cars! It shocks me to think of what could happen if you buy a dodgy motor from them. I will be telling all my friends to stay away!

I'm Glad They Have Been Shown For What They Really

I'm glad they have been shown for what they really are. I was wondering if anyone has had an experience like I had with them, something I've never encountered before at a car dealership or any other business for that matter.

I saw their cars on Autotrader way back in July 2011 and decided to have a look to see what cars they had - alarm bells rang when I arrived:

1. There were nowhere near the amount of cars they had on Autotrader (but I suppose they could have had another car lot), and they all looked like they'd seem much better days.

2. When I went in, I was asked by one of the 3 young men if I was looking for anything in particular...and again by the second man...and again by the third man...and then again by the first man - all within 5 minutes! I said that they had asked me 4 times and each time I said I was 'just looking'.

3. They started to laugh at me and continued to laugh as I walked straight out of the showroom, calling across to me 'not to get upset'. As I was getting on my motorbike one of the men came over to me and started asking what car I wanted, I said I wasn't interested and pulled away while he was still talking (rude of me I know, but I think he deserved it).

4. Another point. I didn't want to mention this because it shouldn't really matter, but all three looked like they'd be more at home standing on a street corner in the shadows waiting for someone to mug.

Matt Allbright - you should give us their real names in case they start another dodgy business sometime soon - think of it as a public service.

Name Changed To "unique Cars"

Just saw these guys on BBC Rouge Traders. Be aware, they have changed their names to "Unique Cars". Same address, same telephone number, same guys...... but they're trying to avoid all the bad publicity and still rip people.

They were even prosecuted under the name "Unique Cars" before they changed to "United Motors", and now they've changed back again.

Suggest anyone who has been mistreated by these people to contact Autotrader trader to have them removed from the website, as well as write reviews about their new alias. I think Rouge Traders need to be sent round again!

Lough Out Loud

If your in the market for a used car and you would consider buying from a couple of dodgy looking guys dressed in a tracksuit then you need some help. I have a used car dealership and the motor trade is extremley difficult and doesn't rep profits like many people asume but when I see a bunch of clowns selling cars in such and obscene manor it drives a knife through me. My cars are presented to the upmost standard, all sold with a new MOT, Independently Health Checked and Provided with a comprehensive warranty package. By no means would I let myself sell a car with a problem of anykind. There are plenty of reputable and honest dealers, but please dont asume all are the same. I doesnt take much common sence to see that when you pull up to the seller whether or not your going to get done, you just need to read the person. There are two sides to every corner and most of the time my customers are just as dodgy as these guys when they part exchange a car with a wrecked clutch but when appraised before the deal there is nothing wrong with the car m8, I have had it years! People need to realise that the motor trade is not easy.

Two words ROGUE TRADERS

Please note, they have now changed their names and are trading as "Unique Cars". Same telephone, same address, same guys. Please see below:

http://dealerservices.autotrader.co.uk/GetDealer.do?did=61673&pageid=2

They have also been prosecuted previously under this name:

http://www2.ealing.gov.uk/press_releases/2010/november/pr244.html

Would suggest reporting them again to Rogue Traders, as well as flag them up to Autotrader. Would also suggest writing reviews on their new alias, so they don't get away doing the same thing, just under another name.
