After receiving a reasonable quote online, and taking the time out to drive to the agreed meeting spot (a very impressive high end car dealers) - the person I was meeting didn't turn up. The owner at the garage I was at was getting really fed up of trusted car buyers using their prestigious premises as a meeting point, and having to ring the guy to find out why he was always late or not turning up to see clients. Anyway, after a few phone calls, I was told he was actually at another branch a further 20 miles away. I was not prepared to travel that far if they would not offer a fair price, so they went away, and actually came back with an offer £400-£600 LESS than the initial quote, without even seeing the car! To rub salt into the wound, I'm still receiving emails and texts telling me to book an appointment as my quote is still valid and if I "BOOK NOW TO SECURE THE PRICE QUOTED" etc - LIES!!!!! AVOID!!!!!!

After the mechanics gave my car a thorough check they told Trusted Car Buyer the vehicle was faultless. It had a full dealership service history and genuine mileage. Yet after all that, the price I was offered on the day was almost 10% less than the price they had quoted me in their initial offer and for no plausible reason. I tried to negotiate a compromise value but they refused so I just drove away.  Steer clear.

After a terrible experience with webuyanycar.com who tried to knock me down £800 on the original internet quote I contacted Trusted Car Buyers with some trepidation. However, from the moment I arrived at their outlet site at Owens of Bilston, I receieved friendly, professional and a fair service from start to finish. There was some slight damage to 2 alloys and 1 tyre was part worn. They therefore reduced their original Internet quote by a very reasonable amount of £150 and had the money in my bank account in less than 2 hours and did not charge me an admin fee!

I came away from their "competitor"feeling insulted and angry. Trusted Car Buyers is in a class of it's own and truly lives up to it's name. I will happily recommend them to anyone who wishes to receieve a fair price for their vehicle and cannot go without also praising the staff at Owens of Bilston who handled the whole deal.
