Badly Let Down

I bought a car on the 30th January. I travelled 90 miles to view the car and liked it. Agreed to purchase with Life Shine. I arrived early afternoon but the business of buying took far too long. I had to retuurn on another day as the Lifeshine took longer than there was time available. I came back a week later. No one was expecting me, the salesman was absent and I waited nearly three hours before my car was available. They failed to give me the package of paint 'treatments'. Many phone calls, many promises - I still haven't received the AutoGlym that was part of the deal. The date is now 18th May and I'm not driving the 90 miles to pick it up when it could easily be posted.

Problems Never Rectified

Having committed to buying a Ford Direct car, on the test drive two error messages concerning the brakes came up on the screen. The sales person took it into the service bay and stated that they had "reset it" and they would not recur. They came up again on the way home.

I telephoned the sales person who told me to book it into the service department for repair. The earliest date I could get was already outside the 30 day money-back period. They did not rectify the problem on this occasion. After a total of 1 year and 5 visits to the service department the error messages went away for a while and then came back again.

I did not want the car any more with error messages about the brakes and took it back.

The chief salesman was completely unsympathetic and refused to refund me anywhere near the price I paid and gave me only the trade-in value.

Think Ford - Not Really A Good Idea!!

I wouldn't say that Think Ford Wokingham was bad in anyway, but Think Ford Farnborough is appalling. Buying a new vehicle, which should just be a simple procedure has turned into a living nightmare due to a clerical error. If you just want a hassle free buying experience, I would look to an alternative dealership. Think Ford need to look at dealing with customers and their buying processes in a completely different way and a more customer friendly approach.

Buying A Used Car

Buying a used car from Think Ford Wokingham was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Excellent customer service from a very responsive and informative salesman. I felt valued but in no way pushed towards a car that did not suit my individual requirements, a rare commodity in used car sales these days. I would not hesitate to recommend this team who prepared the vehicle of my choice for me within an hour of me accepting the deal. Thank you Think Ford!

A Happy New Car Buying Experience

Buying a new car should be a pleasant experience and this was exactly what I found. From the time I walked into the showroom I was not pestered by anyone. When I was ready to speak to a salesman introduced himself to me and answered any questions I had. He gave me all the time I needed, plus his total interest and arranged a test drive for me. He also didn't despair when I said my husband would do the test drive for me. As we didn't want to do it that day he arranged a time /date to suit our needs. Decision made to have the car and I didn't have to wait long to collect it. At time of collection he took us through all the paperwork and made sure we understood it all. He gave a very comprehensive demonstration of the car's features and best of all he sorted out the blue tooth and set my mobile phone up for me. A small thing some might say but for me it was a great help and one I appreciated. I am delighted with my car and would certainly go back to Think Ford at Wokingham if I am able to buy an new car again. I hope he is still working there.
