I bought a new car just over a year ago from switching sides and although the purchase went well the communications from this company is appalling. After sending emails and text messages to a company that you are purchasing a car from on eBay is quite worrying when they do not respond to your queries.

I am very happy with my new car although it did not come with any manuals. I was promised that these would be forwarded to me but after getting no response from the company after 4 months I had to buy my own.

I had been driving the vehicle for approximately 4 months and realised that one number plate registration letter was incorrect on both plates. I had theses changed to the correct number plate and advised switching sides but again as expected I had no response.

I have had the car now for one year with no further problems , however it’s now time for my first service and I have discovered that there are no locking wheel nuts in the vehicle . I will now have to purchase a new set of these as well!!!

I read the negative reviews on SwitchingSides but my experience was very different. I bought a car and unfortunately after a few weeks the engine management computer advised there was an engine problem. Not only did Switching sides contact a local specialised dealer to resolve the problem (an exhaust valve) but the bill was settled directly under the drive train warranty. Based on my experience, and the fact that the warranty delivered when required, it has been a positive outcome. Very happy with the car, but happier that the experience of using the warranty to resolve the car's issue was positive.

Total lack of customer care from the company or one man band his quick to grab your money but then can't get hold of him when something goes wrong. Found out he drives round illegally using trade plates for personal use to putting other drivers safety at risk. Anybody planing on buying a new car stay well away from this company

Happy with car, but the guarantee they provided has proved to be useless. I am left feeling 100% you get service until the car and payment are swapped then they just do not care anymore. No reply to emails, no payments made for work done under guarantee, I have posted my comments on his Facebook site, what has he done just removed everything from Facebook.

The matter is now in the hands of my Lawyer.

Be very careful if you buy here, if everything is not 100% then from my experience just walk away or it will be you paying to make it 100% as his guarantees are worthless.

Beware of Switching Sides Ltd and its one-man band. We reserved a car with him, only to learn that he sold it to a foreign dealer without informing us. Don't take his word for it.
