Stratstone Land Rover, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

I've taken my Land Rovers to Stratstone Milton Keynes for years...NO MORE! In the past few months I've had serval problems some of which were sloppy, and some very dangerous!

During a service a cracked wheel was not spotted...they let me drive off on it! I went through several tyres before the AA spotted it and then Stratstone replaced the wheel without any paperwork to show what had happend!

Now I've had even more problems including taking my car in while still in warranty for an airbag issue...I had to pay for it to be examined...fair enough. I was told that the fault was not covered by the warranty and didn't rush to get it booked in...it was fine to drive according to Stratstone MK. When it went it for the work I was told that it was mis-diagnosed and would be covered under the warranty...which had now run out a couple of days ago and no one asked me if I wanted to extend the warranty!

Asked the service manager to refund the initial payment for mis-diagnosing the car...he said I was responsible for the cost! For not diagnosing it correctly!

I then thought about complaining higher up...but of course some previous dangerous problems had been done without paperwork...why I wonder? So I'm left feeling very cheated and out of pocket!

I'm sticking with Porsche in future...the service is much better and they treated me to a track day at Silverstone for free in their new models!
