After looking around at a number of secondhand car dealers a family member recommended Steve Prince Cars, Aylestone Road, Leicester. This family member had previously purchased two vehicles from Steve years before and they were very satisfied. Looking round the cars on display I found there was no pressure and no pushy sales techniques and I was allowed to take my time, browse and ask questions without anyone breathing down my neck. Steve told me what I wanted to know and more. The car I purchased came with a three month warranty, there's been a couple of niggly bits (to be expected with a car that's a few years old), a fuse went and a resistor needed replacing. The second part proved to be particularly tricky, labour intensive and took a few hours to sort out. There was no quible and the jobs were sorted with a smile. I have no hesitation in recommending Steve and wish him and his company well in this difficult climate. Just goes to show that word of mouth recommendation is always best. I've bought many cars over the years and believed that if you want to get the "Best Deal" you have to buy privately or go to a car auction. Well Steve Prince Cars proved me wrong.

I was looking for a low mileage, full service history, one owner vehicle in good condition. I'd used the local paper and visited Measham BCA auction sales, but nothing seemed right. If the car was low mileage, the price was over my budget. If it was one owner it looked awful and must have been "used and abused" throughout it's life.

We weren't planning to view ANY cars at a dealer, but we'd taken a picture to be framed on the Aylestone Road in Leicester and decided to call in at Steve Prince's place on spec.

He had a Skoda Fabia which fitted our requirements perfectly. We agreed a price and picked it up a few days later.

It's been two months now and we're very pleased with the Skoda and Steve's after sales service. We had a small problem with the interior light which didn't operate when the drivers door opened. More importantly it didn't give you an audible warning that you'd left the lights on.

Steve loaned us a car and his electrician replaced the switch. Result...
