Startin Redditch

I recently went to Startins Redditch with a view to changing my Astra for a Peugoet 308. I thought going to a dealership would make the experience easier although possibly more expensive. I asked to test drive petrol and diesel to first decide which I wanted.

Mike the salesman did not appear to want to allow me to do this saying that they both drove the same. I did take out a diesel which wasn't for me and he became very rude and unhelpful. Under pressure he then allowed me to take out a petrol which he said was not checked over/valeted even though it was on the forecourt. The steering wheel shook when it went over 70mph so I was not impressed.

After this he was clearly not interested in showing me any cars on the forecourt telling me to look for myself. It seems that the cars on the website are not representative of the cars available.

A car is a significant purchase for me so I was amazed that I was treated so rudely and I nearly walked out a couple of times. I only stayed because I had driven half an hour to try and buy a car and I am very busy and don't have time to waste.

Following this I bought a newer, higher spec Astra through Motorpoint of Derby (who I would recommend)for less than I would have spent at Startins.
