Poor service thay make you go down confiming car in stock when you arrive thay tell you sorry we don't have the keys and try sell you something else

Bought the E Class from Selly Oak between email and phone calls from Scotland.

He gave me a fair price for my Audi and on going down to garage he (unlike most) stuck to the figures quoted.

Due to the distance we agreed to meet the following week in Manchester to swap over cars.

Service above and beyond the norm.

Would buy again from the person I dealt with .

Having travelled up from London to buy this BMW, after spending many wasted days viewing extremely mis-described cars it was a great to find exactly what I had seen in the photos if not better.

A pleasure to have bought a nice BMW car from Selly Oak Motors. The deal was fair and the price on the E91 BMW was very competitive. The M6 was a bit of an extended car park but got back eventually having travelled far to get this car. I have just bought myself a Mini Cooper from Selly Oak Motors, and would just like to thank them for going that extra mile and making it such a pleasant transaction. The garage had been recommended to me by a colleague and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone! A big thankyou to Matt, who from moment one went out of his way, stopping late so me and my partner could have an out of hours test drive and then arranging for my private number plate to be put on, so that all I had to do was turn up, pay and drive away! Highly recommended, after spending many a weekend looking at cars and either being disappointed with the car or harassed by pushy salesmen, it was nice to find a local business that are a pleasure to deal with.

I purchased a car from Selly Oak Motors in a swap deal, the car had a few minor problems on purchase which I was assured would be put right- 1 was an oil leak which appears to have been fixed by putting a piece of foam under it!...the other was a handbrake cable which was never repaired despite being took back, unfortunately for me the car then broke down 2 weeks after my 3 month warranty expired I called the garage and informed them of this, and also told them that after advice from a former BMW mechanic that the car required an engine replacment due to the rings being worn (required new engine). They assured me that they knew what the problem was and could repair it simply, but I would have to pay!...the repair was unsuccessful...in the end I had to part ex the car and purchase a new one, the car was up for £4000 and I lost £3000 on the sale... after looking at the service history etc the car apparently only did 2456 miles in 4 years following a service from BMW in 2003, so I would not purchase another car from Selly Oak Motors. If I had not been so hasty I may have picked up on a lot of these faults etc so I'm to blame as well... just passing on my experience hope this helps.

I cannot praise Selly Oak Motors highly enough. My daughter is at Birmingham University and took her X-reg Fiat Seicento there for service and MOT. The owners phoned me regularly to keep me updated on repairs - and charged what they quoted - no hidden extras (a first in my experience). Basically I felt that they took as much care as if the car had been their own daughter's - and it runs better now than it has ever done.

It is nice to be able to buy with confidence from a local family business that also offer a complete after sales service for my vehicle. They have looked after me superbly over the years, and always go that extra mile to please, my car is always washed and vacced out ready for me on collection. Highly recommended!
