The Staff Are Rude, Ignorant, Unhelpful And About

The staff are rude, ignorant, unhelpful and about as fast as a fat kid on crutches. How on earth they get away with trying so sell cars that have major faults is beyond me! They need shutting down before a major accident happens and someone dies!

They just take your money and never bother to address anything that's wrong.

Great Car Buying Experience

Having searched the internet high and low I finally found the car I wanted and contacted Quicks. I used their facility of paying a £200 deposit for them to hold the car for me until I was ready to view it. I was keen just from their advert and thought this was a good idea, have a look on their website for full details, so was happy to pay so as not to be disappointed by someone else buying first.

On arrival at Quicks I was made to feel very welcome. I was dealt with by one of the sales team in a very professional manner. Details of the vehicle I wanted and also of the part ex deal were discussed and agreed and then off for a test drive. There were unfortunately a couple of faults with the 'new car' and some parts had to be ordered in, but this wasn't a problem and it was repaired for me ASAP. Prior to collection the car was valletted to a very high standard, even the spare wheel had been given the treatment and when I arrived to pick it up it looked immaculate. Must also mention that the price was the lowest I found for all similar models, something which Quicks monitor daily, so I felt I definitely got a good deal. The final round of paperwork took a few minutes and I was off in my new motor. The Quicks Team at Sunderland did a great job and I'm very happy, no pushy sales people, just friendly faces who are there to assist if needed. Thanks again and keep up the good work.

Terrible Serivce!

Bought a car from quicks sunderland. Was told there was not a mark on the car in perfect condition with my working hours could only pick car up in the dark so trusted what they said as you would. Got it home and in the light seen the car had previously been keyed down the side of the car. Was told to take it in and they will sort it. Dropped the car off then a phone call saying they were not gunna spray it so to pick it up whenever. My dad went to see if he could solve the issue to be told "well you cant see the scratch if you stand 6 foot away" so I am obliged to always stand 6 feet from the car. Pitiful service. I would not have minded the scratch if I was not lied to about it. Will never use or recommend buying a car from this garage!

Terrible, Do Not Use

The last place on earth you want to buy a car. We bought a 11' Skoda Fabia. We asked them to touch up two stone scratches, before we picked it up. They had gone to town all over the car scratching it to hell. Not only on the bonnet but the doors and bumpers also. The sales person, expected us to drive it away like this. We refused. The manager Mark, promised a complete bonnet respray. They never did, and left other areas of the car scratched (off what they did, it was not like that on the test drive). The sales person who took us for the test drive, promised to call us, he never did. Twice we went to pick the car up and it was not ready, only on the third time. Thinking back on it, we should have asked for a refund. The manager promised in two weeks we could take it back to get it the scratches they did fixed. They would not let us rebook it in. Pretty disgusted. Waste of time. Once you'v handed over your money, they ignore you, and forget about you. When we did go to pick up it, we called and said we would be 2 hours late. When we got there the car had its lights on with the engine off. I asked her how long the car had been sitting there. She said it doesn't matter now your here to pick it up. Buy here at your own peril!!!

The Way Car Selling Should Never Be Done

Inquired about a Mondeo Ztec over phone got through to Sunderland branch but guy said he was really busy so would ring back. 4 hours later no ring back. So rang again and inquired about car but you just get a person in call center who knows little about actual car. So eventually got off phone when all I wanted to do know if the car was there. Guy said they shut at 7pm (this was 6:10pm) and that he would ring to let me know I was coming. So went there no one bothered me which was unusual at this point thought that was a good point. They don't come to talk to you just have buzzers you have to press so found the Mondeo looked fine from outside but wanted to have a look inside. Found the buzz point and pressed it. 5 minutes later no one came so pressed it again. No one came. So after 4 presses and 20 minutes got sick and left. When I was leaving nobody even asked how I was or if I found everything. Would have taken 2 minutes to just check I was ok but nope nothing. Rang customer services back who made up excuses for them and said would I be prepared to come back in the morning. ARE YOU KIDDING ME why would I waste time on a set of ignorant staff who clearly don't feel they need to talk to customers. I wonder of CEO of Pendragon wonders why company has not being doing well in the past. Poor service two words.

All Round Happy Car Buying Experience

Hi

I am a taxi driver and my car died on me just before easter (my busy time).

I had 3 days to find a car and get it on the road.

I scoured the internet for a 2.0 litre ford mondeo zetec, comparing prices and mileage from several reputable local car dealers.

I narrowed it down to quicks.co.uk who have a branch in Sunderland.

I must say that from first contact on the phone to actually picking my new car up was the best, stress free car-buying experience I have had.

I found all of the staff genuinally helpfull and friendly, they pulled out all the stops to get my car on the road for me, THANKS.

I was also very impressed with the price and the 7 day price promise of refunding me with the difference if I found a similar car cheaper, believe me I tried but there wasn't any, giving me the satisfaction of the best possible deal. So all in all its a 10 out of 10 from me right across the board. I would definitaley recommend Quiks for their service and prices to anybody looking to buy a new car.

Regards

W. Hunter-Smith.

Great Experience And Top Deal .

I would just like to say that my dealings with Quick’s this week have been fantastic. First I found a great online deal on a Freelander, and then during my enquiry on the phone you offered to move the car to Sunderland so it was closer to me. Then later I received a polite courtesy call from Sunderland to confirm its arrival and I when arrived -at a spotlessly clean and well-appointed showroom- I found the car gleaming at the front door waiting for me. A lovely girl called [name removed] showed me around before taking me on a test drive, later making me a coffee and left me in the hands of [name removed] who sorted out a great deal where I was able to buy the car from you, and all the time in a very friendly, informal surrounding with no pressure. I would give the whole experience a 10/10!

I wish all of my car buying had been like this 
