Prestige Motorpoint Dartford

This is one to avoid. The salesman didn't tell me that the car had been in an accident previously. In the sun I noticed a slight difference in shade of bumper colour. I asked for an AA check. He agreed. While the AA was there, he promptly sold the car to someone else knowing that I had already paid for the AA check. Or did he? (it was suggested to me by others afterwards that he just didn't want the AA to carry on their check. That potentially he knew what the AA would find in terms of structural damage after the prang). From my perspective Prestige Motorpoint Dartford lack morals, and it appears that I was just a number to them. There was no apology, nor did they inform me. It was the AA who called me to say that Prestige had stopped the inspection mid way through, and that the AA fee was largely non-refundable. Other car dealers I've since spoken with were shocked and said they would not do this, citing reputation and potential future sales from repeat business - either myself or family or friends at a later date. If you proceed, then I suggest you get an AA check for exactly the reasons above, but be aware, even though they may agree to a check, they might pull out later on or say that the car is sold, and it will be at your expense. It was at my expense, and I was lucky it only cost me near 100 quid. Good luck, but your risk.Dave H,
