Errors Or Blatant Lies?
Included easicare at £250 even though I said I preferred not to have it twice - was told "I have already included it now" Over £250 - made to feel that this inclusive but it was extra and too much trouble to take it off invoice - it was put on before it was even mentioned
Was going to pay cash but told finance could be done at 4% with no fees, sold on the fact it could be paid off with no charges at any time - received call after credit check done to be told there is a small fee - £144. On collection of car paperwork showed charges of £325 and an overall rate of 10% - salesman claimed he didn't know this
After paying deposit for car saw it was on their website the following day reduced by nearly £1700 - was told this was an admin error
Paperwork (invoice) was partly in my name and partly in hubbys - said would change but final paperwork still incorrect
Was told log book could be in my name even if finance in hubbys - when collecting car was told the salesman had made a mistake and put log book in hubbys name but I could ring DVLA and change it - have had confirmed that the car must be in the name of the person taking the finance. Given this salesman had heaps of experience selling cars I am again dubious of this "mistake"
Could not provide me with any paperwork on warranty or easicare......
Luckily no problems with the car out of the deal they did reduce it a bit and I love it, did manage to get it cheaper as after pulling but an experience salesman making all these mistakes? I think this is just below the belt dodgy salesman tactics and am not impressed
