Perry Motorcars

Purchased a car and was hit by a bus in my part-exchange vehicle prior to changing over. Perry's Doncaster had already assessed my vehicle and messed me around. In the end they agreed to still take the car as a part-exchange as long as they completed the repairs in their workshop. This was to be done via myself and the Insurance. Unfortunately they sold the car PRIOR to the repairs being agreed and the invoice has not been paid as yet by the insurance. There is a good chance the engineers may want to see the work undertaken. Unfortunately they cant due top Perry's putting this vehicle through the Auctions. The other thing I have noticed is there is a difference in the mileage recorded since trading it in... I sold this with 142k on it has just been mot'd and has 115k on... tell me where the missing mileage has gone... I also has proof of this!! Managers all pass you off between themselves and don't give you answers. I sourced my new car from a different branch and purchased it in Doncaster, would certainly not buy from them in the future.

Bought a Vauxhall insignia from Perrys, I payed £700/£900 extra buying this just for peace of mind and the gold warranty that came with the vehicle.

7 weeks later I took the car back under warranty as "low oil pressure warning" when starting itfrom cold.

They fitted a oil pressure switch and tried charging me £36 even though was under warranty, apparently there is a mileage limit on warranty and although I had only had car 7 weeks they still would not cover cost! I took car without paying as I refused and it did not fix the fault, a week later I took it to another Perrys and payed for a software update which still did not cure it! I am now fixing the issue my self, the gold warranty is not worth the paper it is written on, no small print explaining this regarding exceeding any mileage would void warranty!

The sales man lied and tricked me out of money and the technicians are useless that couldn't fix the issue, the car has now developed a blocked DPF and they will not fix that either!

Basically avoid buying from these conmen, they lie, rip you off and try fibbing you off, the manager does not want to know either!

Needless to say me and my family will never buy from here or recommend again
