Total Waste Off Time

Went to test drive a car from kia nottingham(new site in arnold) paperwork all signed deal done, salesman agreed to get the alloys done for me then called me 4 days before collection date saying there not doing them, the car had also been accident damaged repaired which the salesman failed to tell me about i had to ask him about the colour change in the panels, dealership was very poorly run did not buy the car from there and would certainly never recommend that garage.

Day Light Robbery

I had to go there to get out one of the stuck locking wheel bolts and was charged £96 for 1 hr labour and parts; okay, no problem. They then called me and said they did a check on my car and that i have 4 faulty injecters which had been recalled by vw, and will be replaced free of cost; fair enough. But when i went back to pick up my car i am told that the engine cover is missing! I had to speak to the manager there , who turned out to be disgustingly rude and unprofessional. When i said That is impossible as I had checked the oil level etc a couple of days back and I would know if that was gone, the service manager wouldnt accept that and told me,it might have happened elsewhere and said dont comeback in future if you are not happy! He also said go to trading standards if you are not happy , or call the police! now, that is customer service and professional talk from a vw manager!

He was right, I should never have gone back there considering this was not my first experience of poor customer service and incompetence from the same place.

Good Service

I've been taking my car here for services, MOTs and repairs for about six years and have only good things to say. Prices are competitive and have no complaints about the quality of the work. The staff in the service department are always helpful and update me on the progress of the work being done. What a shame this hasn't been the experience of others but I can certainly recommend them. The only negative is that I live on the other side of town to them but that's an example of how far I'll drive to get my car serviced right.

My Car Has Been Back And Forth To These Jokers Sev

My car has been back and forth to these jokers seven times in seven weeks. It initially went in for a service and since then has had a catalogue of problems which have not been fixed properly. Customer service is laughable and the whole attitude seems to be to screw the customer for as much cash as possible without doing anything helpful in return. Before going in to Daybrook I felt I could rely on my car and now I wonder every time I go out to it whether it's even going to start. Avoid these fools like the plague.

Nottingham Volkswagen Failed To Correctly Diagnose

Nottingham Volkswagen failed to correctly diagnose electrical fault despite having the car in repeatedly for the same problem. They appeared to just reset the computer, wash the car and return it. The problem would then recur after about 20 miles and the car would have to go back. Eventually charged over £200 to replace a sensor which failed 10 months later and the problem recurred. While the car was in and out of their garage, without them being able to diagnose the fault, the alternator blew and I had to pay over £300 to replace (at the nearest garage to where the car broke down). This included an auto-electrician's assessment, who thought the alternator blowing was due to the undiagnosed electrical fault. After further to-ing and fro-ing to VW they kept the car for 2 days, after which they claimed to have fixed AND tested car. The electrical problem did not recur, but the heating was not working when I got the car back. I took the car back to VW who said that the water pump had gone and needed replacing £311). They claim that both the alternator blowing and the water pump going (while the car was with them remember) was pure coincidence!
