They Have Gone Missing
I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS AFTER PURCHASING CAR FROM THESE COWBOYS AND VEHICLE WAS DANGEROUS AND UNROADWORTHY (APPARENTLY OFFICIAL TERMINOLOGY IS UNFIT FOR PURPOSE)NO LONGER TRADING, ANYONE WITH PROBLEMS PLEASE RING VOSA, TRADING STANDARDS AND CALL WATCHDOG I AM OVER £2000 OUT OF POCKET ALL I SAVED TO BY MY WIFE CAR AND I WANT MY MONEY BACK I AM SURE THERE ARE OTHER PEOPLE OUT THERE IN THE SAME BOAT
Hi i think he is at Casle cars in ashby 1 kilwardy street the reason being is that the 2 telephone numbers are the same 01530414007 my wife bought a car under a month ago it burst into flames with her in it 1900 pounds up the spout trading standards informed and court action sanctioned if i dont get my money back.

we have had exactly the same problem, recently brought a skoda octavia vrs estate, half way home the warning lights all came on, brake failure the works!! i called them they said theyd reefund the money after i read them my rights from which? consumer rights website, i sent a recorded delivery letter, it was returned saying they no longer exist, so im claiming back through visa, thankgod i paid on card and not cash!! ive informed police and loughborough police, theyve had several new names, and now addresses, if you search lougborough car sales on google, search a few new webpages, they look awfully the same setup as their old pages, so keep an eye out, they'll be about again!!!

Dangerous!!!!
I bought a street KA form this car centre. When my husband drove it home, he said the car was 'pulling'.
We had it checked out by our local garage, and he said the chassie was very badly twisted and the car was deemed dangerous. When we purchased the car it had a full 12 months MOT .. how could anyone miss that!!!
We are still waiting to hear from the Manager... who is NEVER there incidently.
I would not recommend this car centre to anyone...
hi i know how u feel my car has passed its mot the day i bought it only to be told it shouldnt of 2 weeks later by my own garage! we wrote the manager a letter as he requested stating all faults as to why we wanted to return the car (the repairs are more than the car is worth!!) after 2 weeks he still refuses to take calls apparently he is never there ! i am taking him to court and am hoping that all of you that have had similar problems would help me in contacting watchdog about this also i think we really need this place to go public about what they are doing if anyone wishes to contact me my email is robo81e at sky.com im hoping if we all join together this will be taken seriously

They are now trading as LOUGHBOROUGH CAR CENTRE LIMITED but it the same people.
all they are doing is buying scarp of auctions doing no checks on the cars puting doggey MOTs on the and ripping people off.
There is a way to put a stop to it call VOSA the number is on the back of the MOT certificate they regulate MOT stations tell them what the car is like they will inspect it and the shut the garage down so these mupet will no long be able to MOT there cars and no one will buy a car without a MOT. JOB DONE

This Place Should Be Shut Down
The caes sold at this place should be sold as none runners, they tamper with engine management lights to turn them off the same with any warning light ... 3 of mine had been tampered with, usually you will find the head gasket has gone or going hopefully you will be luckier than clair who had it go on the way home ! mine happened 2 weeks later also my car randomly cuts out mid drive i darent take it on the motorway infact after having it 2 weeks it lived on the drive as i dare not drive it i think it could actually kill me !!! Take a hint i know of at least 6 people who are taking this place to court in the last four months, also before it became loughborough car centre it was loughborough car sales but went into liquidisation in sep? and changed its name and adress.

Do Not Go There, Save Your Time And Fuel !
Looked good on Auto Trader...then I made a visit..big mistake !
The windsreen price was £1000 more than on the web. "we are having a clear out" My research tells me they say that about very car they have !
Went on a test drive with no trade plates or tax disc ! car still had price stickers in windscreen. Smarmy and scruffy sales guy did not want us to actually drive the car ! When we asked about "the full service history"
the book was not stamped, and we where told "the previous owner must have been lazy" When we pointed out oil leaks and broken lights etc "it's a used car mate" and became VERY rude. I live in the real world, I accept used cars are used, and will signs of wear. Most of the cars at Loughborough car sales seem to alot of cheap paint repairs, an huge lumps of filler falling off. DO NOT GO TO LOUGHBOROUGH CAR SALES, I wonder how safe the cars are :?
unfortunetely i bought a car from this company.. biggest mistake of my life!! on the way home from buying my new car the engine started to smoke, the engine maintanance light came on and the car began to lose speed... basically the head gaskets gone and i need a new engine because the car will not start at all now!! i am currently going through court procedings and i am determined to win.
Also this company is now called Loughborough car centre limited and apparantly they are now at number 13 hanford way not number 11... obviously because of the badf reviews.

I recently purchased a Nissan Micra from here and have to say it is the worst experience of my life! Before purchasing the car the staff were rude, however we overlooked this as we thought the ar was in good condition. The car had full service history and recent MOT which gave us trust in the car. After buying the car it drove well enough on the motorway. After bringing the car home smoke starting coming from the engine and we found the car reving more than usual. The next day we took it to a mechanic and found they had sprayed something on the engine to make it shine. The mechanic then went on further to do checks and realised that the engine management light had been tampered with and there was a problem with the engine. We then took it to a Nissan garage who confirmed the car engine had been tampered with and taken apart. We got in touch with loughborough car sales and had a very rude man on the phone. We then took the car to George who was very rude and said he wouldn't help. We are now in the early stages with trading standards. Please don't be fooled by these cowboys!

I purchased a car from these people myself in July 2011 and on arriving home was surprised to find a hissing sound by the pedals, also I struggled to get the car into reverse. I was not able to contact the garage as we collected at the end of the day. We went back the next day to be told the car was 'Sold As Seen'. We even went the the MOT station to query the hissing and the man 'couldn't hear it'He must have been deaf!!!. I went through trading standards and even got letters from Loughborough Car Sales solicitor telling me to get quotes. After taking to 3 garages i was told the car needed a New Clutch and a New Brake Servo (hence the hissing) The cost to repair was more than we paid for the car!! Their solicitor told me to return the car but this never happened as the garage would not let me do this. Basically we got nowhere as their solicitor advised me they had files of complaints about this company! We could not afford to go to small claims court so we are now saving up for a new car, which we really can't afford. Maybe we should arrange for all the people ripped off by this company to meet outside and put off potential customers.

I also bought a car from loughborough car sales in july this year and guess what.. the engine started smoking, the engine light came on and i found out that the head gaskets gone. The car wont start and i also have had no success in getting a refund. Im now going through a small claims court and can i just say i have found about 10 other complaints on this company !!

Loughborough Car Sales Great Value For Money!
I seen a car advertised on Autotrader very very low priced, so decided to travel down to Loughborough Car sales to view the vehicle.
On my arrival I was greeted by Rodney, who was very helpful, showed me the car. I couldn't believe my luck. The car was in excellent condition, as described in the advert and at a super low price. After paying for the car I got offered some tea and a slice of cake from George, who is the manager there, which I took full advantage of.
I can't understand why there are some bad reviews about this company.
I suppose you can't please some people. If you are paying low prices for cars you can not expect the quality of main dealer.
I would recommend this company to a friend any time!
im glad you have a good review of this garage however it must be the only one, the reason there are so many bad reviews is that this company hide many faults if a car they have has them i am 1 of 2 people where they have tampered with the engine management light to hide one of many faults and i am also 1 of 2 where there head gasket has gone on the way home i took my car to a peugeot dealer the next day after i purchaced the car where i was told it should of not passed its mot the car centre had done the day before purchace and it also should of been sold as a none runner, this is not that i have high standards and not something i should expect when buying from any dealer. I wouldnt be suprised if you actually worked from them as i said you are the ONLY postive review i have found !!

Check The Details And Car Like A Private Sale And They Offer Good Value For Money
Having seen the Suzuki Vitara advertised on Auto Trader, we thought it was a good price and the photos looked promising. We had been to see some other cars with promising photos which looked nothing like them when we viewed.
Approaching this viewing with some hope, we checked on the 3 reviews available for Loughborough Cars and almost did not bother going. However, not seeing anything else we liked locally I decided to go.
To my surprise, the car looked like the photo and the staff were helpful. Took it for a test drive and then entered into negotiation!! It was all good banter with the guys, but like when buying any car, check all the paperwork and treat it like a private sale in that there may be good and bad cars there,inspect the car on its merit. Don't forget the prices are realistic and these are used cars.
On the whole I would recommend them and would buy from them again.
