Very Disappointing And Devious

Bought a second hand car from these lot which had a month old MOT and a month old receipt for a cam belt change. The rear brakes were seized and the discs very worn, which would not have passed an MOT, mileage was only 60 miles since MOT. I knew about the brakes when buying and accepted that they would need doing. I also checked the cambelt which was certainly not 60 miles old! It is strange how the car had a one month old MOT and a one month cambelt receipt, and had only done 60 miles since these, as the cambelt was at least 50k miles old and the discs had I estimate 25k miles wear and judging by the corrosion, had been seized for a good few months. Can only presume that the mot and cambelt receipt are not all they seem. I bought car because otherwise it was exactly what I wanted, for a good price, and I knew I could do the work, but I would avoid them unless you are confident that you can do the work thst would be necessary. Their attitude when confronted eith these issues was, tough, sold as seen, as they are a dealer this is not true, I weighed up the pros and cons of taking things further, and as it was the type of car I wanted, and I could do the work, decided it was not worth the hassle, but they are devious and dangerous, do not use.
