Put My Jeep Grand Cherokee In Here For A Misfire P
Put my Jeep Grand Cherokee in here for a misfire problem .
Firstly they told me they fixed it at £610
It wasnt sorted, so back in it went.
Then they said they had fixed it, £132 to look at it.Turns out the ECM timing had fixed itself but it was STILL misfiring.
They then had it for two weeks, did around 4 hours of work on it which included draining fuel tank and (after i told them to ) checked voltage of sensors etc and said they couldnt fix it but i couldnt get my money back for the false fix!
Pretty much rudest receptionist (service dept) ive met.Snotty and arrogant even after i proved it was still not fixed. Mechanics eyes glazed over when i asked certain things.
Seems they are only good for the smart cars they sell now.
AVOID they are useless and rude.

Poor Service, Poor Attitude, Poor Technical Knowle
poor service, poor attitude, poor technical knowledge. I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy.
Enough said.
I Had My Jeep Serviced Several Times At John R Wei
I had my Jeep serviced several times at John R Weir in Inverness and every time I went there their performance got worse.
I have experienced grease on the seats and scratches in the paintwork, nuts that where sheared off by the mechanic and not replaced.
On 2 occasions they could not find a fault and I had to research the internet to find that I had a quite common problem with the rear axle and I had to do the repair myself as this dealer did not want to do the repair even after I told them what was wrong.
On one occasion the front wheels where not re-aligned after a balljoint recall job with the result that the fairly new tyres worn out in an alarming rate.
I mark all the parts that need to be replaced at a service and I found that the wheels where not rotated and the rear differential oil was not changed but they did charge this on the bill.
At the 60.000 Mile service the belt has to be changed, this is a 4,5 Hour job, it took this dealer 3 days and when I arrived to pick it up it was not ready yet for 1,5 hours.
