Shogun 3.2 Elegance

I went to view a shogun that was advertised with 74k on the clock . Before my final decision I went home and did some checks on the government MOT history to find out the last Mot they did on the car had a huge list of advisory notes and the year before the car had 188k on the clock so in a year it had lost 114k somewhere .

Don't Do It!

£1000 on a car and had no end of hassle in the 3 months we owned it .. to then get a £220 refund back for it!! Shouted and sworn at down the phone from the garage owner himself. Water pump gone .. steering rack gone .. cam belt .. cam sensor .. window regulator! Every time it had to go back in, it was left in a right state with greasy oily hand marks all over inside and out. Workers seen smoking in customer cars. Please take your money elsewhere!

Do Not Take Your Car Here! We Put Our Car In For A

DO NOT take your car here! We put our car in for a head gasket under warranty they kept our car for 2 weeks when told it was a 12 hour job clearly they didn't know what they was doing as they returned our car after bodge job left with a oil leak not putting the engine back properly and caused more damage causing a fire hazard and oil leaking into my turbo. When confronted they denied causing this and left me to get it repaired else were not paying for the damage! Also paid over the odds for the head gasket andtaken in for £200! I am now going to trading standards to report this company it's a disgrace how they can cause damage to my & £7000 sports car and think they are not fixing it. The mechanics haven't clue what they are doing and the managers are rude obnoxious people! I will not be using this company again and I advise no one else to do the same.

Pleased With My Car And Service..

I bought my car from JK Autos a year ago now at a reasonable price. I have not had any problems and am still pleased with it. Recently took it back to them for its MOT which was done quickly, with no issues and for £30. They even replaced my wing mirror for free ( which I broke) . I will go back next time my MOT is due, and I would buy another car from them.

A lot of people have unrealistic expectations of used cars' condition given age mileage and price paid etc.

I Bought A Jaguar From Jk Autos For £1400. When I'

I bought a jaguar from JK autos for £1400. When I'd test driven it I noticed the engine management light was on but the Boss, who was in with me, said that it was a bulb fault or something but nothing bad. I mentioned that the brakes felt spongy and he said he would have them fixed for me before I collected it. When I collected it, after about 3 weeks, I noticed a metal grinding noise when I braked along with a really loud judder and then the next day the ABS light kept coming on but going off. I took it back and one of the staff took me for a test drive in it. He did several 'emergency stops' in it and on each occasion it made the metal grinding sound and juddered. He assured me that it was normal and that it was the ABS working. I've been driving for nearly 40 years and I know that the ABS does not sound like that. He insisted it was ok.I took it to a mechanic who said the brakes were not right an noticed an oil leak as well. My son took the car back to them and they reluctantly agreed to fix the oil leak and the ABS (which they'd already told me was perfectly ok). They kept the car about 3 weeks, waiting for parts for the ABS and then I was able to collect it. On the drive home (3 miles)I noticed that the fan that had worked before was no longer working but the grinding noise was no longer there but also that the brakes felt 'strange'. I assumed that was just how they were supposed to feel. I parked it on my drive and 2 days later went out in it again. Again the brakes felt strange but I got about a mile down the road and was going downhill towards the busy A6 when I braked to stop at the junction at the A6. It started to slow but then there was a noise and the car stopped slowing. My foot was down to the floor and the car was still travelling towards the A6. I could see a car travelling along the A6 in my direction and a woman with a pushchair stood on the corner waiting to cross in front of me. I was pumping the brakes like mad! She would have naturally expected me to stop at the junction and why she didn't begin to cross I'll never know but that decision save her life! I'm not kidding! Fortunately, the car had passed by the time I reached the white line of the junction, the woman hadn't started to cross and I was able to steer the car to the left and around the corner onto the A6. Friction finally brought it to a halt.

When I told the 'Boss' he suggested I bring it back and he would 'fix the brakes'. I asked for a refund because he had sold me a car that was clearly not fit for the road. He refused and inferred that perhaps I'd done something to the car during the time between me picking it up and the brakes failing. That was 4 miles! I asked him what I could have possibly done to make brakes that were working 'perfectly' suddenly stop working? He told me to bring it down and they would fix the brakes and when I pointed out that it wasn't drivable he offered to collect it. I told him I had no faith in his mechanics because they had clearly NOT fixed it the first time. WHY WOULD I LET THEM NEAR THE CAR AGAIN? AT BEST THEY ARE INCOMPITENCE, AT WORST THEY ARE GUITY OF CRIMINAL NEGLIGENCE!! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE OR HAVE WORK DONE BY THEM. I've decide to buy another car and cut my losses on the Jaguar, Hard lesson to learn!
