Avoid At All Costs - Not Worth The Hassle And Stress
AVOID THIS SELLER. I ignored the reviews as I thought people would only leave reviews if they had a bad experience but believe me. The car I bought was described as fully working, bought it, drove the car home and EVERYTHING was wrong. I explained I wanted to car fixing so he picked it up to 'take it to get fixed' but he wasn't even fixing it. He refused to give my money back, he ignores you, makes every excuse under the sun to tell you he's sorting it (expect answers like: my son is at the hospital ETC) I had to go to the police/trading standards involved as he refused to give me �2000 back and took him a month and endless complaints for him to finally refund me. Read all his reviews on google search GNJ Car Sales - everyone has a bad experience!CHECK PAPERWORK, educate yourself on consumer rights act 2015, test drive the car/take someone with you who knows about cars.Please do not get involved, this man ruined my first time buying a car
My daughter has had a terrible experience with this low life.She bought her 1st car sept 2017.Still waiting for spare key,boot shelf,service history and paint to touch up what he said he would do.Documented everything he arranged to call round about 10 times never turned up. Trading standards letter was sent recorded delivery 5 attempts to deliver it in the end returned to us.After paying out £390 to fix problems,now the key & fob isn't working,will cost £180 for a new one.He never gave us a key code or immobiliser code.This piece of junk has been off the road more than on.Cost £2495.00.We've hit a dead end because we don't know where he lives.How he sleeps at night I don't know.
Wish i had found these reviews before i bought this car having the same issues car drives like a bag of bones juddering in automatic gear and reverse things not done on car that were promised to be done took him over a week to deliver car to me leaving me stranded with 3 kids im disabled, he has been promising to pick car up and fix it but nothing eg customer has loan car so cant make it sorry tomorrow oh sorry tomorrow again im fuming

My daughter purchased her 1st car 3/9/2017. To cut a very long story short, after phone calls, texts promises from him to come to do what he said he would do still waiting. Need service history, shelf for boot, paint to cover all scuffs and scratches, engine light on constantly and problem with gears. He should be ashamed of himself for the upset he has caused her, hope he doesnt have a daughter. Going though trading standards now, when i met him i thought what a lovely man, didn't realise i could be so wrong. Bring on karma, how do you sleep at night shame on you
Take him to court I did and eventually got my money back.
omg cant believe i am only just reading all these reviews. it like a replica of how he treated my daughter. thought he was a lovely man promised everything. my daughter is 22 and a student. needed a car asap for travelling from Liverpool to Norwich. small problems at first, like central locking not working on key and back light cover had a hole in it promised to fix, but with numerous calls and texts,let them go and sorted ourselves. he replied in text for not coming saying just at hospital with dad bad. and me apoligising for calling and hope his dad was ok, then 2 days later said he was visiting hospital couldnt speak. then said in alder hey daughter fell down stairs. didnt think nothing of this until i read reviews on trust pilot and similar texts were told to other victims of this despicable man. 5 weeks later engine management light comes on. and ring because it still under warranty, kept fobbing me off, then said to take it to one of his garages he uses rice lane motors on rice lane by mcdonalds.they had it in three times and did not fix the problem once saying oh sorry i forgot it in for that i done something else. after 3 months of trying to get this sorted, i phoned the garage after 2 days of having the car again and they said it wasnt done, i asked if they coulld give me a time as we have arrangements to make, and to my disgust was told to ******** get the car that he wasnt ******* doing anything on it because he didnt like my attitude.when phoned to tell him what happened he blamed me, and threatened me that they werent the type of lads to mess with, and re- warned me that not to do anything about it. and now i had messed it up for myself because he only uses that garage and they wont touch it. i was intimidated. i text him and said to leave it then and i go to my mechanic and sort it. my mechanic confirmed our worse fears that it was a wreck and would need so much doing 8 faults in total major. to take it back because it was still under warranty when he was informed. big mistake he said my mechanic was lying and it was out of warrant and there nothing i could about it, said smugly take me to court. i say the same bring on Karma how can he sleep peacefully. i am gutted.

I have had the misfortune of buying a car from this company. I would advise you to go else where believe me. was great until we had a problem constantly tell stories about getting the car fixed. STAY WELL CLEAR
i am having same problems did you go the police or action fraud. how have you got on.
The same is happening to me, I bout a car on the 6th of this month and on the same day about 10 warning lights appeared on the dashboard. I called the guy and he told me to take it to KS auto garage for fixing, what this people did was just resetting or clearing off the errors but not fixing it because they had been given instructions not to change any costly parts or else they wont be pain. The car is now driving in safe mode due to a serious engine problem which I don't know.
The guys at the garage managed to give me the boss's number who later distanced himself from the matter saying I should deal with the person (Geoff Morrissey) who sold me the car.
On contacting this Geoff man, I was told he would come to pick it up and take it for repair and up to now I am still waiting. I have done some research and discovered that GNJ Car sales is not registered anywhere in company house, I even don't know where to return the car as it was delivered at my house when I was buying it.
FRAUD AT ITS BEST I BELIEVE, I have been advised by the Police to contact Action Fraud for investigation.

Bought a used car which took 4 days to actually get because the dealer kept delaying bringing it to my home. Eventually collected it and within 16 hours of owning it there was a problem. Contacted the dealer who said he would collect it which of course he didn't. Next conversation was to ask for a refund and I wanted to reject the car, his response was to hang up.
