bought a 2yr old vectra in 2011. within 6 months the car had cost us nearly £2000 to repair (they only gave us 3 month warentee). biggest fault was an outstanding handbrake recall. a fault we only discovered when the car released its own handbrake when parked on a hill and crashed into another parked vehicle. evans halshaw initially accepted liability but when the insurance company contacted they claimed they knew nothing about it. we made many attempts to contact them and the response was rude every time. the car died completely in dec 2013 with repairs being more than the cars value. car was a waste of money, mot they put in it was debateable and service shockingly bad. dont touch them!
