Avoid This Dealer At All Costs
had a few cars from dyl the service is very poor had problems with our last 2 cars one of which was not fit for road use
we are still in dispute with dyl through the correct channels
hopefully the recession will claim this dealer before they rip off anyone else
take notice of all these bad reviews and not the good ones

Not even worth a star !! so .....my boyfriend who is in the army wanted a decent second car, he saw a vauxhall corsa on the forecort it looked really clean and nice, there was a few problems with it but was all sorted before we actually brought the car, before that they took his details and they pushed him into buying the car, he brought the car on finance after numerouse phone calls from dyl, they had already set up everything ready for him to go to the shop and get the car which he did not even agree to they did this before he even confirmed he wanted the car, soo after driving off the forecort week one he must of gone back 3 times, he had problems with the window where it would not wind up, they said they did an 120 point check on the car this was apparently sorted, after a week or 2 the window started again so he returned the car and was given a courtsey car.. they then replaced the 'regulator', today we took the car back up again as the window would not go up at all unless you pulled it up yourself with forse they then said it was the window had jumped out of place, on the week before we went to the chip shop car was fine as we placed car on the drive and turned the engine off and started it up again i would not start and all smoke blew out of the bonet, so we rang AA as they give 12months warentry is this true is it heck, he then had to wait until the morning for dyl to open and get them to recover the vechile, after a few hours they finally told us the problem was the starter motor not clicking on and in there words it had sunk, as we thought about it it had to be replaced this should have been on the 120 point check! like hell it was, my boyfriend had the had to pay 50 pound for a 60 pound part as part of excess and was told nothing about this. if we have anymore problems i will post them on here because people shoud be aware of what sort of dealers they are, R U B I S H ones !! Make sure you listen clear to the AA warentry they give you !! dyl make my blood boil as so many times things have happend when we have planned nice days out

Do Not Buy A Car From This Company
Bought a car from this shower, an MGTF for £4000. As I only wanted it short term, they promised to buy it back off me at a decent price a few months later. The car then 'supposedly' went through a 100 point inspection before I was allowed to collect it 24 hrs later (i should have known)!
Straight off, the radio didn't work. No big issue. Then the radiator was faulty - they replaced it (this was within the first week).
2 months later (and after only running a total of 889 miles since purchasing), I took the car for an MOT. It turn out that 3 of the wheels were one size and the fourth another. This had caused all the brake pads and discs to be shot. Additionally, the steering was all out of alignment, the radiator was still faulty, the electrics were burned and the head gasket was a gonner!
I tried asking DYL to buy back the car as agreed, but they ignored all forms of communication, including a sever letter of complaint. I eventually managed to sell for £2500, having spent £1000 to fix it to get through an MOT.
If you want to buy a car that will KILL YOU - these guys are the best. If like the rest of us, you want a decent buy, then avoid DYL Motor Group (and all their affiliation companies) like the plague

Not sure what to write here, i bought a car 23/03/11, apparently had 120 point check, thats the first problem, after 1 week, the battery was a dud (120 point check), fan was stuck on all the time (120 point check) so they supplied me with a courtesy car for a week, second, week 5 head gasket blown (very big job), they picked my car up (eventually) and supplied me with a courtesy car for a week third, week 10, car broke down, steam coming out everywhere, AA rang to collect me and car back on drive, after discussion with DYL they supplied a courtesy car a third time, the previous week, i had an exhaust fitted at my expense (120 point check) at a garage i have used for 10+ years, they also told me, allthough the tyres have really good treads, they will not pass an M.O.T, every tyre has numerous splits...(120 point check??) So the car is back at DYL they say their is nothing wrong with it??? either someone is not telling the truth here or i'm considered to be thick?? i'll say the garage has helped me on numerous occasions with a courtesy car but will update on the progress of my refund and then rate them, just hope the SMALL CLAIMS and TRADING STANDARDS, along with the MINISTRY OF TRANSORT and my solicitor don't have to get involved. Lets hope this can be amicable, I will not let this go.

to auction went back on the forcourt for sale? i am sorry for the next person who bought this car and the garage is a disgrace, i do not know how the powers that be allow them to continue trading... disgusting... buy from here knowing this and you get what you deserve.
Well can you believe it.... i was told the car was unrepairable and was offered £800 of the £1481 i paid??? that was until i told them i have litigation cover on the card i purchased the car with... guess what 2 seconds later they gave me the full price i paid less the new exhaust i had fitted and told they would have to sell it at auction because it was unfit for sale? surprise surprise its back on the forcourt for the same price? beware this is a really really nice red mg but not worth the money, check out the new scorpion exhaust? you have been warned, i could have been a lot worse off and so could you.. do not trust them

I Pruchased A Nissan Navara From Dyl And I Have Ha
I pruchased a Nissan Navara from DYL and I have had problems with the vehicle ever since. The advertise they do a 100 point check but my hand brake didnt work and had to be taken back to fix, the brake pipes were excessively corroded and the steering was knackered. To say I have 3 children I am disgusted they even let me take it off the forecourt. I have heard from other people bad stories about DYL. My advise is stay clear of them and use a reputable company!!

I when in DYL MOTOR GROUP hoping to find a car i wanted. But didn't found it so the manger a Mr saleem did tell me there are car coming in all the time. so he taken down my details, sounds good. But every morning since i've been getting phone calls after phone call for car's that i didn't even as for.Didn't listen to me at all, try to force me in to vehicles that i'm not intrested. Then the last call i got of him he told me I'm just a waste of time plus with a lot of bad lauguage!!!!

WHEN IFIRST WENT TO DYL BOUGHT A CAR AND WAS WELL PLEASED UNTIL I GOT APHONE CALL TO SAY THE MANAGER HAD ALREADY SOLD THE CAR. I WAS ASKED TO GO BACK TO DYL AND THEY WOULD DO ME ANOTHER DEAL. I HAVE NOW GOT ANOTHER CAR AND AM DELIGHTED WITH NOT ONLY THE CAR BUT THE DEAL I WAS GIVEN BY WAY OF APOLOGY FOR THERE MISTAKE ON 1ST CAR. FLORENCE WAS EXCELLENT WITH SORTING OUT ALL DETAILS BEFORE MAKING MY CHOICE OF CAR I ASKED ABOUT FINANCE AND WHAT MY BUDGET WAS AND THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL
