Non Existent Customer Service

I rang up to check the availability of a car in the morning and was confirmed it was still available, then a little later when I arrived was told by who appeared to be the sales manager with a grin on his face and no apology it was sold, I didn't get a phone call either. The car was still outside without a sold label on it either.I suspected the car wasn't sold and was being lied to for some reason?Anyway the car is still advertised on their website.

In this day and age i'm surprised this kind of shoddy practice exists, but to actually turn away business is madness bordering on stupidity.

Car Sold With Hidden Problem

Do not trust this car dealer! Most disappointing. Bought a 12 reg Volvo XC60 from them. On the way home, the oil light came on; 3 days later the tailgate started making a tremendous noise and stopped opening properly. D&J Autos was spectacularly unhelpful, suggesting the struts just had to be oiled. This must have been a long standing problem. The struts needed replacing; unfortunately they're expensive parts. In the end I got them replaced at the trustworthy local Volvo garage. D&J Autos refused even partial reimbursement. This is for a problem which occurred 3 days after purchasing the car. Oh yes, and the car battery had to be replaced 5 days later too! Big sigh.

Great Service & Fantastic People

Just purchased and BMW X3 2012 from these guys and having travelled all over the country on the promise that the car is excellent condition only to be disappointed on arrival at several other garages including main dealers I can honestly say that these guys at d&j no how to prepare a car. The car was just as described over the phone and after travelling 2 hours to get to them I was not disappointed. Very pleased with the service, organised my finance quickly and didn't try to sell me some rubbish paint protection nor extended warranty, very relaxed process from start to finish, keep up the good work..

Dinosaur Sales

I was interested in a low milage xj in indigo blue , at just over £26 k bit on the heavey side for 2010 but for the right car worth paying a little extra , salesperson approach me maybe the owner not sure , was told as the vehicle cost £100 to prepare couldn't test drive it , couldn't even start it , if I wanted to test drive an xj I would have to go to a jag dealership ! If I was then interested could go back and do the deal . Reminds me of buying my first car 30 odd years ago when used car salesmen inferred they were doing you a favour selling you a vehicle , customer service has come on a long way in most dealerships as I found when buying my wife a new car recently , unfortunately not here though if this is there idea of customer service prior to buying a vehicle I would hate to see how much help they would be if a problem arose later, I may be doing other salesmen working here a disservice for this I apologise , but I won't be revisiting , perhaps it's time to retire or join the rest of us in the 21 St century were customer service is part of of buying process . An important one

Great Car From D&j's!

Had my new car for just over a month now and I absolutely love it. Saw the car I really wanted online and after a few visits D&J's dealt with everything with my part exchange and finance. Great little runner, I'm really happy.

Bought Car Which Had Hidden Problems - Seller Not Reachable

Bought a used car here a while ago (was 1 year old).

The buying form I had to sign stated that the car was sold "as seen".

A few things were missing, such as spare wheel and some other things, which I was told would be there when I came to collect the car.

When I did, I forgot to check (got too excited about new car) and turned out that these items had not been added

Everything with the car appeared fine, until I started driving the car on a regular basis to find that things would just fall off, after having been put on as a bodge job. One of the things I was very angry about was the sun visor, which just fell off into the leg area and blocked the pedals until I could remove it. Luckily no accident occurred, as I was driving on the motorway and there was no need to use the break at that point in time.

Then I looked at broken joint and I looked like it had just been jammed back in in the knowledge that it would last until the car is sold...

Had some other things like that...

Tried to contact the guys, but the ignored all of my efforts to contact them (they already had the full amount of money for the car).

In the end I had to spend a fair bit of money to get things sorted.

Customer service is great until you hand over the money.

WOULD NOT TRUST THESE GUYS
