Worst Car Buying Experience

I bought a car from the Ipswich branch, traded in my previous car no problems. Until my payment for my previous car came out, and my new car payment. Spent three months trying to get my money back to be inundated with lies and generally no communication back. Emailed the head of business who didn't even have the decency to email back, eventually got the refund to be £100 less than I was due. Now got all of the money back through a complete ball ache on my behalf. Worst experience I've ever had buying a car, will never buy from here again, terrible customer service. My husband will be buying another new BMW and we will be avoiding this branch entirely.

Damaged Wheels

Had new tyres fitted, sorted me out with a awesome courtesy car so cannot complain at that but I noticed a couple of days after collecting the car that damage had been caused to one of the driver side wheels, spoke to a manager, they refused to accept how it could possibly be them and hung up when I attempted to argue the case

Do Not Trust

Two years ago I bought a mini from Cooper Ipswich Mini & BMW. A big and expensive decision. The salesmen blinded me with a number of add ons, most of which I resisted. I should have walked away when it became apparent that they had pin pointed one particular car for me and didn't seem to be able to fit any of the other cars to what I could afford. Anyway I didn't - I have always wanted a mini and I liked the one they wanted to get rid of. One of my stipulations was that it be fitted with new tyres. When I picked up the car I was assured they were new. I am a woman of 52 - a safe driver in other words! I do an average of 8000 miles a year- so the tyres should have lasted 3 years. Tomorrow I will be paying out over £400 for 4 new tyres- apparently the back ones had already been swopped with the front! 4 new tyres wouldn't have cost them all that much and wasn't a lot to ask for. I am in business in the area and am often asked my opinion on the car - from now on I will be sure to warn those new buyers to avoid the ipswich branch.
