Car City Bristol Ltd (T/A Auto Click)

I brought a Peugeot 206 Roland garros, and before I got it off the forecourt the break break lights and indicators didn't work, they did fix this and then I went to drive home and it over heated, the had put water in the coolant tank and it had faulty wiring! Over £200 to repair I rang them and I was fobbed off they refused to pay to fix the wiring and refused to give me a refund even though it's the law!! I got trading standards involved and yet said they were not the same company! Make sure u report them to trading standards if you have the same problem the more people who report them the more likely someone else won't get ripped off like I did, what they do to people is wrong! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Be aware they have changed their name.... I wonder why!

Bought a car from this place 10 months ago, just went in for its mot, failed and would cost £1000.00 to repair! Extensive rust so badly underneath that the mechanic put his hand right through! I wouldn't recommend this company... However I will say had I got a check done by a mechanic prior to buying I probably wouldn't be in the position now of having to buy my 2nd car in 10 months

Nothing but problems and fobbed off by the staff repeatedly. Now changed their name to auto elite so watch for that name too

Went to buy a car thursday could not test drive as there was only one bloke working, bloke said he would hold car until saturday for me, get there saturday morning to find car gone and sold, complete wasted journey, could have phoned me, or put it on hold like he said he would. Very unorganised and untrustworthy.

I would have given a rating of 0 if possible but it wasn't. I read these somewhat dejevu reviews after purchasing my car and 2 weeks later it had broken down. I have had nothing but trouble from the second hand car dealer since it broke down. For the first week I was told out right lies about my car being fixed by an employee of the company Dan. I finally managed to talk to the boss who was not fully aware of the situtation. The level of customer service recieved is outreagously poor. I was told they do not give courtsey cars. I have had to call constantly to get updates and on a number of occassions had no reply to messages left asking for updates. I have been spoken to in an extremely unhelpful, unprofessioinal and unsatisfactory manner by autoclick on far too many occasions. I had to put everything in writting with a view to talking the matter further and i do not see this as acceptable. This has been an excessively stressful situtation unnecessarily so as they could have merely fixed the car and returned it asap. The car was returned to me after 4 weeks of being off the road and thought to be fixed. Less than 24 hours of recieving the vehicle back it had broken down with the same fault. I went into the car dealership to obtain my refund and after over an hour of waiting for the manager to deal with the situtation via the telephone I was given a refund. Totally unacceptable situtation, made worse by the lack of customer service. At least now I can put this behind me and move on.
