Brook Performance, Preston, Lancashire

In May 2008 i purchased a polo 1.4 cl from brook performance. Their advert on Autotrader stated that the car had full service history, which was total rubbish. The advert also said the car had ABS which is also rubbish. However the car has been fantastic. It had 24,000 miles on tle clock and one owner from new. That was the only true thing in the advert.

Having realised this i contacted Brook Performance to ask them if they had it in their office. I spent 4 weeks calling them again and again. They were not the friendly and helpfull car dealers they say they are on the website.

Anyway despite paying far more than i should have taking the missing service history, missing second key and lack of ABS into account, the car has been fantastic. Really is a great little german motor.

Just be warned that that the car you purchase from Brook Performance may not be exactly what it says on the advert.

I purchased an 03 reg Mini Cooper and within 2 weeks of driving it away the whole automatic gearbox went - it cost 1800 pounds and the warranty provided only covered 1000 pounds - brook refused to meet the shortfall and wouldn't take my calls! Absolute joke! Please do not buy a car from here you'll only regret it!
