Poor Service Poor Morals

Purchased a used vehicle from the Stafford branch and I took out the extended warranty, good job had several issues inc clutch gearbox suspension & to be fair all was covered under the warranty, but when more repairs were needed suddenly a new set of terms & conditions appeared and surprise these items were not covered now ? Even the branch manager didn’t even know the correct terms and conditions even took the time to send me a photo of the wrong terms ! Miss sold the warranty clearly! Obviously they don’t agree & basically say you should be grateful you had repairs already !! I contacted the sales director Ford division he did take the time to call me obviously we didn’t agree but at least he did contact me & even he said they don’t tell you the terms and conditions!! , I’ll take it to the ombudsman and see what comes out, the service plan is also a very expensive way to have your car serviced AVOID seek better company with better morals

I had an oil leak repaired on my transit

I don't believe the work done was needed and paid over 800 pounds

Front crank seal rear Crank seal and a brand new sump

I did not see any oil from sump or rear seal sump looked in good condition when I looked the transit has only done 67000 miles and is a 2013

No explanation never saw or spoke to any machanic regarding the van I would think I would have a chance to talk to someone regarding the work

I would not use them again and urge others to question the work and reason it was being done

On the receipt it started wash and vallet free

All custermers get this NOT me it was the same as I dropped it off

Shocking Customer Service

After taking my Ford Ranger to Bristol street they charged me £79.00 to tell me this is how the electric plug on the towbar is wired up from ford.

On another visit it took 3 days to fit a new heated windscreen and then when finished the rear view camera failed to work. After taking it back to them again they failed to deliver the car back to me with no communication why my vehicle was not delivered back to me. I had to get a taxi then train to work the next day at my cost. I cannot believe this garage has any repeat customers.

Do not hold any hopes of getting your car fixed first time.

Ford Warranty Is A Joke !! Especially At Bristol St Motors .

MONDEO 2.0 TDCI ZETEC 2010 bought from ARNOLD CLARK STAFFORD 10 months old 3 YR WARRANTY. But in 2012 developed an intermittent faulty amber airbag warning light which stayed on most of the time. Returned it back to A.CLARK who sent it to BRISTOL ST MOTORS for repair UNDER THE WARRANTY .They had it 4 DAYS and could not find the fault under diagnostic repair but was assured it was only a FAULTY LIGHT and NO WAY was it a FAULTY AIRBAG which was either going to explode whilst driving or NOT perform properly if in an accident. He also assured me the fault was under warranty in the future if any more problems occurred .So had to believe the service manager and take my car away with the light still on intermittently. NOW 2014 the problem is.... under new MOT regulations the car will not pass with the light on .So back to BRISTOL MOTORS who can NOW actually find the fault AND find a part to repair AT A COST OF £211 PLUS LABOUR .????? WARRANTY RUN OUT NOW !!!.ALSO new service manager who will not accept responsibility for his predecessor .Passed me on to FORD CUSTOMER SERVICES who state "should have took it back earlier ".OR IN OTHER WORDS "PAY UP or NO MOT ".Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I had an absolutely pleasurable experience and purchased my new car that I had been looking for for over a month and it wasn't until I met them I actually found a dealer that didn't treat me like I was just another customer to turn around and get back out the door

So overall a completely 5* experience

"do Not Buy A Car From These People" Having B

"DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE"

Having bought a 12 month old Ford Galaxy from Bristol Street Motors STAFFORD with only 6,000 miles on the clock and being told that as a Ford Direct car it came with a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty, i was horrified to find that when the car developed a few minor faults after 1 year and 5 months they refused to honour the warranty i had been told the car came with. I now have to go through the process and the costs incurred of taking legal action against Bristol Street Motors if i want my car repairing. The service i have received there has been absolutely DISGUSTING!! After my experiences with Bristol Street Motors STAFFORD my advice to anyone would be "DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE"
