we dropped my BMW in for a repair after the doors & windows started faulting. It took them two days to detect there was a faulty door lock so I had to pay for a hire car. I have AA warranty so the repair was covered other than the difference in the exorbitant labour charge to what the AA accept as reasonable. I then had a call to say there was a further fault which would cost another £500. The AA authorised this but BMW refused to accept a payment from the AA by cheque & the difference from myself, they wanted the whole amount from myself before releasing the car. Even though they are guaranteed payment from a large organisation such as the AA they still won't release the car until they have the cheque & its cleared meaning I would have to continue hiring a vehicle! We are now pulling the car out of BMW & told them to not do the additional work, we will take it elsewhere. I didn't realise BMW were so financially stretched that they couldn't provide customer satisfaction. I'll stick to Audi next time I purchase a car, never had any problems with them.

BMW Sutton Coldfield.

I booked my BMW X5 in for a service over the half term, I dropped the car off and later they called me to say the car was ready. when I collected the they informed me they had run out of fuel filters. this is not a rare part, its a part they change every day. they couldn't answer why they could go a collect a filter from a dealer about 6 miles away .I was told the service manager ( Mark ) would contact me no call. I contacted BMW UK still waiting for the out come after 6 months. we have changed the car to a BMW X6, it was called in for a recall, took it to BMW Sutton Coldfield as I wasn't paying for the recall. After the recall they called me to see if I was happy with the service. I explained my passed experience with them and said I only used them as they are my nearest dealer, they said they would get the service manager to call me (Mark). still waiting after 2 weeks.

We love the Brand (Cars )BMW customers service very POOR.
