Bargain Cars, Bolton

I bought an astra he advertised in autotrader as having 63,000, i took it to a local garage when i devoloped a fault within 1 WEEK!, further enquiries and we discovered the car had done at least 140,000 miles, as it was a one owner car it leads me to wonder who? could have "clocked" it, also the "full service history" advertised did not exsist, the matter is now in the hands of trading standards, do not deal with him at any cost

Avoid at all costs, lost deposit after he failed to turn up with the car, and now continuing to sell the car, with my deposit in his back pocket, this guy is a complete waste of time with his poor reviews from "Bargain Cars at Bolton" clearly he is branching out of the area to the easily scammable car sales pitch areas, he used the one by Duxbury, Golf Club, near Chorely , i assumed it was a garage he worked at, the owner of the garage didnt really know him apparently, he turned up in a Gold Volvo S80 Reg LD57YTS he operates under the name of Tony Rothwell, Tall Broad 230lbs short fair hair,

As Rogue as they Come!

Bought a car off Tony Rothwell, he said he would send off the warranty details so I'd be covered for 6 month, He didn't do this and the car developed a major fault within weeks of buying the car on the gearbox which I've now had to get repaired myself and fork out for. The guys not interested and won't even take any calls. Reported to trading standards agency but please avoid this company if you dont want the same thing to happen to you.
